Doesn´t work for me.

That´s what i´ve done:

• Saved the file at the sdcard.
• Backuped original market with titanium
• Uninstalled original market with titanium
• Moved new market to system/app with root explorer
• set permission with root explorer to
  [x] [ ] [ ]
  [x] [ ] [ ]
  
  • rebootet into recovery
  • fixed permissions
  • rebootet
  • done

That´s the way it worked for me at TripNRaVer´s Froyo MiUI.

EDIT: ChilliBo got the problem that the market doesn´t appear after he followed these steps.

If you got the same problem, then rename the app to Vending.apk and reboot the phone.

That worked for him. ;-)

is this just for2.3+ or can i use it on my current rom 2.2.1 (until trip release the new miui GB rom :P )

If you´ll not risk anything, first make a backup via recovery off your current ROM. ;-)

But the way i described, definitely worked for me. ;-)

Actually now bored from MIUI froyo most of now...... If you make a port of Meizu M9 then After getting your TWeaks ITS get MUch better then Originel M9 rom

  after moving it to system/app u should rename it to vending.apk ! otherwise it wont work !

But if you going to use the upcoming Gingerbread-ROM the new Market will be included.....
