Ok Trip has clearly stated he will no longer give ETA's on future ROMs. You'd save yourself (and everyone else) a lot of time by not asking when it will be available. It's making reading through the topic (which not everyone does it seems) take longer.

Just check back like everyone else (at least 2 times a day for me due to the time zone difference and Trip pulling all-nighters.)

A good way to check is to look at the date at the top of the topic (since he updates the title) and the "edited" time/date at the bottom of the first post. Just read...it's a fundamental skill.

Known issue. Should be fixed in next release. Read back a few pages. (I know there's alot of crap to wade through but it'll save people from yelling at you)

Best thing to do is go back to 0.7.5 as it is most stable so far.

I've posted this for this exact purpose.

@Trip, just a quick question.

I was looking to install an app (socom 4 official app) on my phone and the market on my phone wouldn't find it and the market website said my handset/rom (as it showed the exact tripnmiui version and stuff) weren't supported.

I had to swap out the "ro.build.fingerprint" in the build.prop using flashtool 2.9 with one I found for a verizon eris and download my app then switch back to your default settings. I don't know the total scope of what is needed there...that's why I leave this up to you...but thought you might take a look or let us know some info on it that you already know if you could. Thanks.

BREAKTROUGH FULLY WORKING CAM 720P/8MP

Are we talking here about the video cam @720 and the Camera @8MP or just the video at 720P? Well, I would care less if that was only the video, but still ,... With SE promising its new ROM in 2-3 weeks, that may be the solution for the driver issues with MIUI. For now though some other GB MIUI seem to be ahead. Let's hope this one will bring something. I am beginning to hate the way things are going here, esp with the person in charge always bashing and swearing at others whenever they ask something. People have spent time, some - money, some - phone and most passion to follow it through up to this point. MIUI is a creation by other devs who are naturally humble and polite. For the small tweaks we do here we are getting nervous, why? Keep it cool and calm.

no you did not have a wrong result.

2.2 is final ... 2.3 is beta ... in 2.3 there is a lot of work to do and that´s the reason why you see green screen and have a laggy rom.

are all well known problems, Trip already find a solution for camera so keep watching the forum and wait for update.

And yes 2.2 its a almost completed rom that everyithing working , so if you want to have all fuctions available use Trip's Miui 2.2 , but i am sure that in a few days we will have 2.3 with working camera and many bugs fixed.
