Are your proximity sensor working during call (screen goes off). I have a serious problem during calls (annoying, calls keeps on getting disconnected).....?? Just because of this i am planning to switch back..... or else i was using it as my daily rom.

^^ no the signal is great,i think signal is related to the location(country).

Is the signal issue, because i have flashed bb .65 on x10i? bb.65 is basically for x10a.

edit: this patch fix the proximity sensors but Broke the landscape mode.

no it does't matter if u have x10i or x10a

Most of the roms I have tried, Trip's and others, have had the data disconnect issue, sometimes its from traveling and changes in signal from 2g, 3g, n so forth... Most times turning airplane mode on for a second, then off again, will restart the data...

When the poximity sensors do not work correctly, I have used the power button to turn the screen off during a call, and for those with the home button waking the phone in their pockets, power button turn off locks the screen too! ( I always turn the screen off with the power button...drives my Wife insane....) :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks buddy, worked for me(screen flickers while locking it from power button) now i can continue using as my daily rom, untill something new really pisses me off.

Now i am looking for resolution on signal issue, does it make a difference if i am in home network or roaming????

You dont remember all the issues we had with intermittant radio with BB.65 from a while ago? Part of why we were using .67 but with march kernel. For me anyway, Unless I use stock rom, BB.65 has had issues with SMS and radio and Trips Roms. Back on Miui by C and no radio or SMS issues currently. Its unfortunate because this is a very nice "looking" rom but gotta have the main features working for me to use as daily.

yes we had the problem with BB65 on other roms but don't know why it is working fine on this rom,really strange but it is working fine till now.

yes i just noticed that so i'm gonna disable the landscape mode till Trip sort it out.

i am not a dev so just trying things :D

thats why it is hard for Trip to fix things

2nd problem.... everybody that i have spoken to whilst being on this rom has said that they can hardly hear me and that i sound far away... has anybody had the chance to call people to see if there microphone levels are really low ?

I confirm that I also have the same problem. Except this, all works great. Sorry Trip, back to Froyo 1.73.

I noticed that too. Customers that called me today could not hear what I was saying and I kept repeating myself.

I guess we have to look into this...

I haven't had that problem. Spoke to 3 people today and i could hear them and they could hear me clearly.

I haven´t the problem, i spoke to 20-30 Persons today i haven´t any prblem. They can hear me and i can hear they.

Trip your Work is so good, i think time to time why don´t you work for SE Netherlands you are better than the People there.

Trip i Have some bugs:

Compass dosn´t work well

Proximity sensor too,

and a question:

I Have Navigon for Navigation but it dosn´t work FC must close the Programm,

my question is what can i do for my Navigon App. Google Maps works perfektly but it isn´t work offline.

Please can me give a tip.

sorry trip i had to switch back to miui 1.7.3

reasons :-

1-the rom is sooo laggy BUT Stable and has an awesome theme .

2-cam doesn't work and gives green strips until now.and video cam is 720p and sooo clear but so SLOOOOOOWWW and unusable .

3- i disliked the notification bar in GB and like froyo plathform more .

4- no big difference between miui gingerbread and froyo so why do i have to change ?

5- look screen is hard to unlock .... i prefer the circule lock .

thank you trip so much i don't mean to interrupt you but these are only an opinuin not more than that.

Here are my observations after a full day of use of the 0.9.5 rom - BB SE 0.65:

- 3G connection with poor quality and many falls (GMS Vivo Brazil)

- Battery status on the lock screen gesture displayed dirt

- Capture screen using "menu + volume down" does not work, perhaps related to thecamera.

For the record, the problem with the quality of the signal occurred only in this scenario. Using other rom or Gingerbread Froyo the problem did not recur.

Hi all,

Been following this for a while and have been using custom roms for a while. I think i may have found a bug.

using any of these Gingerbread Roms, whilst i get 3G or H signal the actual "data" connection seems to drop out and not come back.. For example in the market, a message pops up saying the network connection in unavilable, retry or cancel... I can click retry as many times as i like and it just keeps happening, trying to browse the web just gives apage can't be displayed. seems that going into airplane mode and back out corrects teh issue for a short while.

Interesting to note that i can recieve calls when this issue is happening?

I've tried using bb67, Trips .65 and .61 as well, all have the same issue.. Trips froyo rom does not have this issue using any of those basebands.

You forgot to mention that it's Cobrato's fix . I thought I mention it because it seems that you all have problems giving credit when using others files.

YES, and now that u mention it, i think cobrato won't be having troubles sleeping at night. He can now sleep peacefully because he knows u have credited him on this....
