Trip - I think that we can't use custom kernel with your roms, cause the modifications you make to xrec. Every time i try a custom kernel with your rom, xrec brokes & I have to flash the SE firmware again.

Plz don't be upset, I really don't know any dev things, but like to try different things. This is only my opinion. Asking you to do something about custom kernels cause we know that awesome roms are just ahead when G B update arrives ;)

He DID mention that his ROMs don't support custom kernels. He personally sees no point to them.

Dude, dont take this as offense, but its really not Trip's fault if u have no clue how to install custom kernel in his ROM...

video seems to be work... sms works.. wifi works...

found one problem... it is since 0.9.5 , "Need For Speed Shift" not working with your tripmiui gb.. try it on your tripmiui Froyo, it was running fine... could you fix it.. really like these game..

In fact, i have tried this on several other devices too, seems like it doesnt work on GB... It works great on my current P500 though, but it just seems like it wont work in GB.

Nice to see a new GB rom by master Trip, this one gotta be a master peace. I have one question though, I am at work and will not be able to try till I get home.

In any GB rom by Trip I have been able to use Barnacle WiFi Teather and the option to do it from settings just doesn't work at least for me. Any body has tried it? I like to share my 3G with my buddies.

I open it and it requests root access, I allow it, the phone freezes and restarts. Then once back I try again but it fails with a message "Barnacle cannot use su permission" something around those words.

If I look in SuperUser it shows it is there but it just won't work.

Also there is a flash light app called "Flashlight" that I love because its simplicity, just a widget turns on the flash light. If I just do like adding the widget, the phone restarts and restarts and restarts for good. I have to reflash it, other wise it just restarts over and over again.

Maybe this is corrected with this new release. I will try it later.

I have 1 problem. In Lockscreen and new message is "slide to SMS" - that dont work ! I slide and open dialer -.-

Oh yeah, I know and that one worked. I am sorry, I didn't mention I use a different launcher, I use Go Launcher EX and I use Widget Locker to change the lockscreen and customize it better, so the pre-installed flashlight won't come up. That's why I wanted to use the app I mentioned before.

Since adding SMS patch and rom seemed to settle the battery has never moved I also drained batt then charged to 100% and ran battery calabraton app

Also no lags or anything even internet is stable ...... I'm on bb65 T-Mobile uk

Dispaly settings FC, in music player after a while just blocks the phone. I had to take out battery. For the rest its perfect, hood job trip, i cant wait for the official roll out se we can see this one complete :-))

P.s: Next cash i get they be heaing to your beer found trip :-)

bb67, everything works well, sometimes the screen turns on itself. When this occurred the first time, the phone jammed and the screen turns off. I had to remove the battery to turn on phone again, it did not respond to touch or the physical buttons.

little advice: when we are recording the video or recording audio file, LED could light up red :)

edit:

some games do not work, someone has already posted about NFS above. With me not working Aftermath XHD, when installing a message pops up "no INSTALLED" and there is a green tick, it should be a red cross.

-The fastest GB MIUI without custom kernel.

-Wifi connectivity is slower than before.

-Data is stable till now.

-For the first time too many FC:market,miui music,gallery,and some app(without any restore).

-Proximity sensor(many release not working). -sms and calls ok. -charging is slower and battery get too much hot. Thanx Trip

I don't believe it. I think that the fastest rom is with custom kernel z or free kernel mod 3.62.

I tested rom 0.9.5 miui by trip with custom kernel and it's more fast that kernek original kernel.

- Market FC.

- GPS does not turning on after turning it off (phone does not recieve GPS signal). Fixed every time by wiping cache partition and Dalvik cache.
