Old roms do not work with kernel. I have stock GB rooted and all s***. A little tweaked :lol:

Will upload this one. Make sure you do the following before flashing

Flash 2.1

Root

install xrecovery 0.3

install my rooted gb update.zip

this is extremely important

pull out battery from your phone and leave it 30sec to be sure

putt battery in

run flashtool

flash baseband and kernel from gb update

start phone and enjoy rooted 2.3.3

maybe there is an easier way, testing that now

There is only one problem... to flash back an old rom you need to flash the old kernel again first.

This is due to xrecovery, dont know if this exist in 1.0

Will look at this now and if that solves there will be an update pack. But firstly have fun! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I mean that you need to download the zip file and flash it with xrecovery, after that directly pull out battery and flash the kernel+bb71 from the offical ftf file.

I just finished flashing SE official gingerbread ROM and i must say it sucks... Everything works but it feels like it's missing TripN's touch (or maybe I just got used to his ROMs)... I can't wait for ur version Trip... thanks for all you do!!!!

No you need xrec 0.3 installed then you can follow the guide.

Trip in xrec after doin all the wiping business I select your custom zip but it says:

No you have kernel from official update flashed BEFORE you flashed the update zip.

You need to flash the zip before you flash the kernel and baseband from the official rom.

YEAH!!!!! After working goddamn all night i got a EUREKA moment :D

Damn the new kernel was killing me!!! I got it fixed now!

The damn thing wouldnt apply themes with new kernel, now everything is fixed and ready to move on to camera! B)
