RingTone is not a issue at all :D

1 Q though : Is the screen turn off/on animation included ?

Status update:

done

- MIUI Camera

- Automatic flashlight

- 720P recording with AAC audio

- All MIUI camera options working

- Recording is within 24fps to 30fps (higher then stock rom!)

- Pictures can be made from VGA to 8MP to complete range available and working

Issues present

- Broken MIUI gallery

- Default ringtone is silent (you can select a ringtone as usual and it will work)

Didnt test much more because this is allready a lot of work. Rom is without FC (MIUI 1.7.22) no strange behaviours so when these issues are resolved it will probably be 100% working from the release on. I'm in a doubt if this version is stable for going public.

I don't think I've ever even used the MIUI Gallery.

And have a certain ringtone that I always select.

I really want to get off of the stock ROM. Thinking about flashing 1.0 again. Best one by far. Especially the battery life.

But waiting is okay for me. All is well. Keep up the good work.

No buddy. If you haven't flashed the new bb & kernal yet, you have to flash it via flashtool to get custom prerooted gb versions working, cause the original firmware haven't been rooted yet.

So he is talking about original se kernel, not a custom one.

I think we will have to wait till it get rooted for using custom kernels (thinking)

Probably Android 2.3.5 and the latest MIUI version.

ps. specially for the green goblet from xda i'm including the -FULL- bravia engine from the Arc rom (give you something to study at!)
