[Kernel] ! 16/6 FreeKernel mod 3.51 - Eclair, FroYO, GB, MIUI!

Hi a1exander,

I have flashed your kernel on baseband .49 [Trip's MIUI 1.6.9] by mistake. Now everything is forceclosing. I am not able to use my phone.

On top of all, I am not able to goto xRecovery ;)

Please suggest what I should do now.

Im not talking about that , im talking about . flashing using SE updater to fix your problem then reflash , and please if you need help msg me . preventing spam =]

Please see a few posts above, hirox10 has cooked up a MIUI version for 351 called “FreeKernel-mod351-miui222.zip”.

It works fine on 1.6.9 (baseband .52). Thanks hirox10.

This kernel don't work for me too on BB49 with 1.6.9

Rom boot but, everything has force to closed....

Hmmm, that's really weird... I tried this Kernel on 1.6.9 and its all good. My baseband is .52 though.

Before flashing 351 I had 350 kernel... possibly the new kernel (351) needs the older 350 as a base?? Not sure.

So just try first flashing 350 and once everything is stable flash 351.

Which kernel(350) did you flash miui22 or miui221?

Thank you for your big hint. I just think again, and will try to build a new mod!

Just tested :

-> 1.6.9 on BB49

-> Installing mod350-fix1-miui221

-> booting..... then everything force to closed ;)

-> remove battery

-> Installing mod351-miui222

-> booting..... then everything force to closed :P

so, nothing work for me.... maybe changing the baseband but, BB49 and BB52 are very closed

221 and 222 are almost same excluding the kernel modules. Why, Mmmm ?

Yeah I think the only difference in 222 (or 351) kernel module is –

- Its been over-clocked to 1152MHz (this may be unstable)

- There is some FPS uncap fix

I'm getting only 33 fps in quadrant with this kernel, did it twice

edit: when playing games like air control, the fps sometimes drops to 4 and the it starts lagging

Are you sure you flashed the kernel properly? Check settings and about phone

Check if your CPU is not set to some 128MHZ frequency or something.
