oh, and how does one customise the nokia ui..? nokia CFW..? please tell me more...!

Glad you popped in... As you noted games play far far better on the Blade (angry birds, anyone?)

CFW and discussions, here: http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php?board=84.0

You wont recognise your phone after a good flash :-)

Mabe Modaco has there own symbian forum.

I doubt it, symbian is dead.

Symbian fanboys will quote user numbers, but just because there are a lot on board, doesn't mean the ship isn't sinking. Good riddance ;)

hi pondlife / skybooks,

the capacitive screen actually takes some getting used to after a long time with resistive - sometimes the resistive seems better, sometimes not!

Hiya, ;)

True although I took to it like a duck to water probably helped that I'd had an ipod touch for a few weeks before grabbing a SF, my partner doesn't like the capacitive screens at all (likes to use fingernails)

Well said.

Symbian used to be pretty decent until 06/07. When they shoehorned it onto touchscreen phone's they usability sank. Fast.

It's still not bad for some cheap phones but it's certainly nothing to brag about.

The Blade is still well worth 120 euros in my opinion.

I've also got a Nokia 5230 (almost the same as a 5800) and it feels so old-fashioned and slow compared to the Blade.

The Nokia has better build quality and works better as a phone but in every other respect the Blade wipes the floor with it.

My Nokia is now only used as a sat-nav, Ovi Maps is the only useful thing on it.

hi all, i have the SF now since 3 days. just love it for it s 129 francs at orange switzerland.

took so far 100 pic, I thought it would be worse.personaly i prefer a 3 mega pixel camera than a 12 mega becasue files are lighter to send on line, and i dont like when people can zoom in your nose!

the lens is bad, lot of baril effect.color are washed out, and contrast is poor.

it seems the gps is very good, 10 seconds for a lock! woow! and it s pretty cool to download on the android market. (easier than the itune crap)

still looking to get adhoc!
