Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I ve checked disable bottom notifications in LN settings but sometimes(may be after reboot) buttons shine when I have missed call or sms.
Guest renzs Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) I ve checked disable bottom notifications in LN settings but sometimes(may be after reboot) buttons shine when I have missed call or sms. If I'm not mistaken "bottom notification" is moving notice bar to bottom of screen. If you want to disable "Bottom LEDs", look in LNP settings. ~renzs Edited September 14, 2011 by renzs
Guest Darei Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Hi again, I have another problem (again). I can not set a CSD only way to send SMS. This choice isn't in stock SMS/MMS app. Can anyone help? Thanks. Where I can change a SMS center #. In stock app is not this value. This is maybe help with my problem. Thanks
Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 If I'm not mistaken "bottom notification" is moving notice bar to bottom of screen. If you want to disable softkey led, look in LNP settings. ~renzs Thx for reply. I talk about LNP "Disbale bottom notification" option. Just LNP is called LiquidNext settings in main(desktop) settings menu. I wouldn't ask if this option moved my notification bar to bottom )))
Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Dear thepasto and suxsem, can you tell us about future plans? For example: We don't have enough free time - new version will be in december. We bought htc\samsung\motorolla - this was last version.Next version will be after 1 000 pays through donate app.Or(as I hope) new version will be in next(two, no please not three I just cant wait) week, will be fixed something.

Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 http://liquidnext.up...-kernel-updates and http://liquidnext.up...tatus-suspended stop complaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not complaining. I'am asking about future plans, not about what was alredy done. I think many people interested in this info. For 1.8 we had nice counter on LN site. Stop writing so many exclamation marks.
Guest thirtytwodave Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 as far as i know Thepasto is working on some new kernel
Guest Liqushi Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Last updates on website say that the work is in progress but a bit slowed due to kernel 's server hacking... i don't need an update right now, I'm happy about this ROM. As you know the only thing i think must be fixed is battery drain in 3G mode because today I've charged the phone and i left there without using setting only 2G network and everything else disable and I got 10% lost in 8h . It's perfect. But in automode the battery drains i think is really high So i think we don't have to rush Dev. We're already lucky to have people such as thepasto. we have to patiently wait. We can say that this ROM is the best Ginger for Liquid. Sent from my Liquid using Tapatalk
Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I don't want be misunderstood. I'm not trying to rush devs. They will spend as much time for new version as they want. But I think idea with counter was very nice. I'm already happy to have Android 2.3 working on Liquid.

Maybe could be a really good idea :P We could set donations number as countdown :D Not bad, not bad... Anyway as we wrote in our blog (you can follow us there to be always update... And press on button "Donate a Click " :) ), we will release next version when we have new sources.. Release a rom now don't make sense because it would be the same you're using. Btw now we are trying to solve some bugs, and add some new features to have some new bugs to correct for LiquidNextNext rom :D Don't worry we will continue to develop this rom for a long time. I want to port icecream too :D Cu soon :P
Guest Dima KN Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 haha nice post :) I'm glad you are laughing and not taken my post too seriously ))). Donate a click - done. Buy donate app - done. Thx, for reply. You both do a lot of good work.

Guest Stangoesagain Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Just as I feared, the unreproducible bug popped up after the first charge: http://code.google.com/p/liquidnextbugtracker/issues/detail?id=27&colspec=ID%20Owner%20Status%20Priority%20Type%20Summary Battery drain before the flash and after The steep drop in the beginning is the drain after pulling the charger out and before reboot. Since it's the same story on two different Roms that wasn't present in stock it probably has something to do with old code in CM kernel, Leogingerbread was based on CM7.0.1 2.3.3. It's as if CPU governor switches to performance when plugged in but forgets to switch back to normal (OnDemand) when charger is pulled out. Also my phone doesn't like reboot anymore, often hangs on Liquid Community Rom screen, no problem with shutdown and starting manually, is it normal?
Guest mmick Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Hi guys, do you remember my battery issues with LiquidNext 1.8 and some people saying it is my battery fault? Well, I have done a full wipe + installed Acer ROM + installed CM6.1.1 v3 and now... no battery issues! As good as new. Unfortunately that means there is an issue with latest LiquidNext. I don´t know why but perhaps some tweaks done, perhaps something broken when creating the CPU overclock or even the LCD layer/driver. As of now (CM 6.1.1 v3) I have <50% battery use by the LCD (with Liquid Next always >55/60% was used by the LCD) and everything is alright. Though I would like to have a LiquidNext ROM so I hope this can be fixed soon...
Guest Dima KN Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 I made few tests today. As I told before sometimes my device hangs. I tried to install MIUI based on Android 2.3 and MIUI based on Android 2.2. And on both I've got hangs. Then I installed stock rom and no problems for whole day. It seems like there some problems in cyanogenmod(MIUI like LN based on cyanogen) and not only in versions based on android 2.3 but also on android 2.2. Now I returned to LN 1.8. And again - 10 hangs and reboots and now device works well for about an hour.
Guest darkskoliro Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 do not restore the system data with google account , or titanium backup. what so you mean i should flash it again, but uncheck the google thing at the start?? thanks in advance!
Guest Daedric1383 Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 Question, is it not possible to get/read mAMPS that are being spent/charged ? Current Widget shows battery percentage, and mV, but not mA. Can this be enabled on the kernel ? Does the A1 have hardware to measure such? (my really old htc kaiser running android could read this)
