Guest musclegym Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I cant connect my internet connection. appears obtaining Ip adress and dont connect. I tried almost everything and nothing. can someone help me please?
Guest Stangoesagain Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Jensma, when I tried enabling/disabling bottom LED in Liquid parts I also lost all signals but there's "Reset" option there that brought them back, bottom LED is gone for good but the one at the top works okay, at least for e-mail. Haven't had missed calls yet to check the other LED at the top. Musclegym, I don't know if IP address issue is related to this particular ROM, have you tried the usual? Long press - Forget network? Have you tried static IP? Tried another network? If nothing works then, I guess, your only option is to do a Factory reset, not pleasant but should work, restoring apps with Titanium is easy enough. I bet people would immediately say that you somehow restored previous system settings, this is the kind of thing that would cause your connection problem. If you indeed missed that requirement then you better wipe and flash all over again. Oh, hold on, you can manually delete IP config fom the system either via ADB or any kind of Root Explorer, Factory reset is for unrooted phones. I have no idea where exactly those files are located but Google is your friend.

Even after rebooting the LEDs still won't work :/
Guest Stangoesagain Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 That's all I know about Led, let's wait for someone who knows better. I myself regret disabling bottom Led to see what happens, I don't know if I'll ever get it back. I always put the phone down with bottom facing me so it's very natural to have the light there rather than turn the phone around to see if anything is flashing at the top.

Thanks for trying :) I got a leather puch with a hole on the top where the leds can shine through :/

Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 hi use swapper for create a swap partition but gives a error: busybox denied. can anyone please explain me how to create a swap partition? another thing a2sdgui dont give any information about the sd card, i dont know why Swapper doesn't create a swap partition, it creates a swap file named swapfile.swp. To create a swap file, either format your SD card using a computer running a Linux distro, or format your SD card from within malez recovery (as it gives you the option of creating an ext3 and/or a swap partition next to the fat32 one).

Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 but I used malez but in a2sdgui appears that swap is disable Check the partition table of your SD card to make sure swap was created successfully. If it was, enable it in A2SDGUI (make sure you're using the latest version) after each boot, though IIRC, you will only need to set swapiness once (I'd recommend 10 or 20).
Guest musclegym Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 I check with partition master and I have FAT32, Ext2 and other (maybe is the swap)
Guest combrader Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Everyone who have LED issues: Check the "Disable Bottom LEDs" box in LNP settings. After that, everything is working fine. (The whole thing is made by a misunderstanding, as for me. I thought this option mean if I didn't check the checkbox, the LEDs working correctly. :P )
Guest erfanzest Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 how can I update Android market???? thx

Guest BejhanJ Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 look in LNP, set Fix Sms Led  I use Handcent sms and first led dosen't work, now with this set up work fine  I also have a problem with Handcent not lighting up the LED, however, I do not see these options in LNP. All I see for LEDs is "Disable Power LED" and "Disable Bottom LEDs". How can I fix my problem? I just downloaded and flashed the ROM today.

Dunno ... my battery seems to be fine (normal use, actual 50% in 1,5 days - usual battery life between 2 and 3 days, depending on usage)). Did you try to fully charge the phone and then wipe the battery stats in recovery-mode? This always helped me ... didnt help others though, but still worth a try. I'm using the App 2xBattery (check market) - maybe that makes such a big difference? good luck.

Guest Stangoesagain Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Between two screenshots above there's a huge difference how much juice goes to Display. On my phone Display also takes a lot, I'd love to cut it down but how? Set brightness to 20%? Reduce sensitivity somewhere? Any other tweaks?

Guest BejhanJ Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Is anyone else having a problem with Android Terminal Emulator? Most commands do not work for me. Even "ls" doesn't work for me (I get the permission denied message). I have tried using "su" which works (I get the # sign as my prompt) but I still get the permission denied message for "ls". How can I fix this?
Guest kelu85 Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 I have a small technical question: you can minimize an app running (such as a to do list or shopping list) to open another app (calculator), so you can resume from the system tray without losing any data? ( sorry for my english... it's google translate! :D ) however good work guys!!!
