Hi all! So far battery drain seems worst than in 1.0.1... is it just me? now i will try to wipe battery-stats and will let you know if i see any improve...

Two more bugs:

-By pressing search button in launcher nothing happen (i know that i can configure it in cyanogen settings... but there isn't a search app... even on market, or at least i can't find it)

-By trying to add a lockscreen gesture, cyanogen setting FC...

Not really important bugs (except for battery one) but you know... better know them ;)

Thanks

but I got a new problem, if I reboot or start with connecting USB , I can't use USB storage device except pull out and plug in again.

I can't connect USB both pulling&plugging and both rebooting with USB cable connected or not :-\

my app runs at the background always lost after a call even that with 64m swap.

how can i fix it?

and it will back to the lockscreen everytime after calling,is that a bug?

it's great by the way. ;) :P :D(forgive my poor english,haha)

Hi Suxsem, thanks for your hard work...this rom is simply amazing and it feels faster than the other gingerbread i've tried so far but i have a small problem with the gallery: the app works with no problem but i can't change the wallpaper neither from the launcher or by the app...any ideas?

I had this problem too with Dario93 3dGallery in 1.0.1. In 1.1 my gallery started with an error like in 1.0. Then I went to "system\app", deleted 3dGallery.apk and flashed ROM (1.0.1) above again. Now it works with wallpapers. You can try this way.

Oh, if you speak about 1.1.1 then I have no idea. he-he. sorry.

Install TouchPal dialer or GO Contacts (from market).

ROM is nearly superb for me except lightsensor bug. all LED's are working for me now+ultra smooth since 1.1.1 update. new boot animation is so cool that my friends using milestone wanted that boot animation ;) for best use i recommend everyone this gapps package i have especially made for this ROM. it includes maps and other goodies i am always in need while i deleted vending.apk, market updater and setup wizard since they are already included in the rom and if you install again, they will break your apps: http://www.multiupload.com/ED3Y3XI6ZX

In russian thread of similar forum there was a message about levels for autobrightness.

Just try to set them to:

Maybe the one from 100 to 299 should be set higher than 50 (60-65 for example).

Enable smooth brightness changing and this works.

Thank you! that's values for brightness works really well

Hi all,

Been away 4 some time, just a quick question.. How does this GB ROM compare to kang CM7 1.2.18? Has anyone here had both flashed b4? There has been tons of CM7s around and since 1.2.18 has been rather stable, im not sure if its worth getting into the whole wipe-flash-wipe-restore-wait... u get the point.. So, is liquidnext faster/smoother/more stable? Thanx 4 ur time

I don't remember which version of kang I had, but it was one of the recent.

With kang my battery was dying in 12 hours of idling with very low usage. Now I've lost only 38% in 9 hours with one hour of moderate usage (twitter, google reader, web browser). It is better than I had with official Acer ROMs.

LiquidNext runs as smooth as kang, but I've used OC to 998MHz on kang. Now I have stock frequency with the same smoothness. Which also saves battery.

Now ondemand governor works as it did with official ROMs - nice and smooth without holding cpu at full speed. On kang lagfree governor was the choice - ondemand did not work, yet it also was working with flaws. That also improves battery (LN version).

I can't talk about stability yet, but I did not have any problems yet, except for LEDs. As I see they work randomly. I did not test magnetometer, so I can't say anything about it. I only had one call, so I can't comment on sensors.

2G/3G toggle still does not work properly (setting is lost upon reboot), but I hope I won't reboot this one for a long time ;)

I like LiquidNext better than kang. No really annoying things yet.

hey auxx, thanx for the quick n thorough reply. my kang last a day or more with moderate usage. i can only go as high as 921MHz for assured stabillity, but on on-demand governor. i dont even have a lagfree governor on setcpu! Anyway, i suppose that its worth flashing, my kang is RC0 dated from feb 18..
