Guest thepasto Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Okay, I'll do this! Thank you. But for information: is it normal that my /data/dontpanic/ direstory is empty? Or directory will contain files after force shutdown? Yeah it's normal :) files in that folder are generated only when you have a kernel panic (forced reboot B) ) Hope can help us to find the problem :D Thanks for your help

Because my problem - forced shutdown. (After this shutdowns I have to turn on the phone manually. And phone numbers of last call (which is connected to me at the moment of force shutdown) has not beed saved in LAST_CALL_LIST. Maybe files will not be generated too.. Time will show this case)
Guest kelu85 Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Kang used other drivers for sensors.. Can you sand me (via pastebin) logcat and dmesg of your boot process? - power off your phone - launch adb logcat > logcat.txt - when your boot is finished (when your home load is completed stop logcat) - run adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt - send me both files can you tell me step to step what i have to do? expecially "- launch adb logcat > logcat.txt" and " run adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt "

I hope :) Try anyway and let me know Thanks can you tell me step to step what i have to do? expecially "- launch adb logcat > logcat.txt" and " run adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt " you need adb and android sdk in your system.. After that you should open a terminal and type those command with liquid usb connected with debug enabled.. You can find several how-to in this forum to configure adb and use logcat.. Thanks
Guest droug Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Sometimes It happens to me. The the display just shuts down. The only solution is pull out the batery.

Guest fear_factory84 Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 android uses nice priority in a particular way, I don't think that it should work in this way. maybe some task manager app has a priority setting... In this rom I have many force closes due to aggressive lowmemory killler... on froyo I haven't that.. (a1 device so 256mb ram).. can someone tell me how to alters the priority of running processes please? i tried renice -15 `pgrep org.adwfreak.launcher` renice -15 `pgrep android.process.acore` and put it in userinit.sh which is located on my root of sdcard, but nothing happen :)
Guest s.criscio Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I tried this rom, but i had a problem: when i send a multiple message (the same message to many people) it doesn't work...i have tried 1.1 and 1.2 and i had the same problem!
Guest kelu85 Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 i have one more little problem ( but insignificant in comparison with the problem of sensor of proximity ) if i have a missed call on the phone, lights of softkeys are turned on also if the screen is off! and flash the led of call and the led of message( ????)!!! why?
Guest knotts Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Hey,nice work fellows) Here is a suggestion: add the following cmd to you auroexec cmd list and you will see a huge speed up in your launcher and all apps : renice -15 `pgrep org.adwfreak.launcher' where org.adwfreak.launcher is the name of a process of your launcher) And plus add this cmd: renice -15 `pgrep android.process.acore' Enjoy) Hot to add this to autoexec list?
Guest f1rSt Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Hot to add this to autoexec list? my advice to you is to leave that to LN team, i think they will add this thing in a future release to check how it works, simply type these commands in terminal

Guest fetaboy Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I like this rom but I dont use it because of the too high battery drain. What is the problem? And the phone getting very hot when I start to use. Any idea?
Guest jayziac Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I'm getting about 1%/hour idling on 2G signal with wifi/background data off. I turned off most cyanogenmod features, and don't have a lot of apps installed. I'm not sure if the proximity sensor has the same bug as stock roms where once a call has been made, it stays on and drains battery and shows up as "Android System" in the battery usage stats.
Guest Suxsem Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 1.2.2 OUT Check market updates and enjoy! Bye :)
