Guest cKen Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 1.2.2 OUT Check market updates and enjoy! Bye :) everything is going smooth so far! just great B)
Guest TIM_ROX_UR_SOX Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I use Linear theme for CM7 off of the market. It has a very nice look and there is a battery percentage. For those having fast battery drain problems, have you tried the wiping battery stats fix? (drain battery completely until shuts off, Charge fully while off, boot into recovery/wipe menu/ wipe battery stats, reboot) I found that it made a big difference for me :)
Guest RazorICE Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 1.2.2 update booted in normal Launcher, had to reinstall LauncherPro for some reason, which now force closes before opening. :)
Guest RazorICE Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Yep, 1.2.2 broke it. After rebooting my phone is now stuck in a force close loop and I can't access the normal launcher, so I'm doing a nandroid recovery now. >.<
Guest devilishone Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Tweetdeck is broken now for me with 1.2.2, when I tried to start app, it bombed loading new tweets. I tried wiping cache and dalvik and reinstalling tweetdeck completely and it also bombs, in fact it causes a soft boot of the phone most of the time. I also had problems with market. I've hardly tested anything else since I basically have to revert to 1.2.1 to use the rom functionally.
Guest Chewy11 Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 all good here 1.2.2 was very slow on first boot, fine after reboot have had one soft reboot so far, only a a few on 1.2.1 just tried TweetDark
Guest devilishone Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 all good here 1.2.2 was very slow on first boot, fine after reboot have had one soft reboot so far, only a a few on 1.2.1 just tried TweetDark I wonder if it was the OC settings I had, hmmm, I'll give it a try again tomorrow with just standard settings for the performance settings.
Guest devilishone Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 badword, ok, ignore my issue with tweetdeck, I changed my overclock speed as I was having the same problem with it using 1.2.1, will have to fix the stuff I changed in CM7 settings.
Guest anavel Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Updated to 1.2.2 There is no FC or any special issue found til now~
Guest tosseg Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) little LNP issue: 1. I Downloaded last LNP via market 2. I choose save as liquidnext_1.2.2.zip on SD card and dont reboot after download 3. exited to homescreen 4. lost connection or phone fall a sleep or i dont know how, but download stopped at 23% 5. When I touched notification to cancel download there a message of FC of LNP appeared and notification didnt dissappeared. Tried it multiple times with the same result. Clear notification didnt helped. Download actually stopped - i watched size of file in some period of time. 6. cured freezed notification of "Downloading" via reboot. when i redownloaded update - all gone well. Is parametres of low memory killer now 8-12-16-24-28-32? It seems to me the same as in previous version of LiquidNext Edited June 24, 2011 by tosseg
Guest jayziac Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I upgraded to 1.2.2 and haven't had any FCs, reboots, or problems yet. I did notice that the DSPManager service starts up on boot when it didn't before. I don't use it and would prefer it not load in the background unless I open the app to use it, otherwise I might uninstall it.
Guest zebbe77 Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I upgraded to 1.2.2 and haven't had any FCs, reboots, or problems yet. Same here, and my first impression is that it seems a little bit more snappy. :)
Guest kelu85 Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) ok installed.... really fast and reactive but: - i still have the bug of the proximity ( more details : the it's on ok, but when the sensor list or other application use it, it turns off as if there is something in front of the sensor and in sensor list is always 0) if you fix it, i dont have any request of this rom! it's perfect! i'm thinking... can i try to use the patchs of cm kang, oldsensors or new sensors, only for a test? edit: ok, only new sensors make my sensor ok... but only the redmark of sensor list it's active, and i dont have signal! :) i'm going to do a nandroid restore Edited June 24, 2011 by kelu85

(or the display protective film). Did you reflash original acer bin with acertool before flashing cm7? If not, do it

Guest Morris Lee Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Flashed it, all is good except i am confused with which live wall paper is added? I saw none :s
Guest Xtrem krnage Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Everything is ok here, version 1.2.2 is more reactive and a little bit more speedy without compcache for now :) Good work
Guest Sammy Antepian Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) I have updated from 1.2.1 and seems like screen rotation is not working. When reboot phone, for the first time it rotates portrait to landscape but hangs in landscape after that. Anybody with this problem? ***EDIT*** The problem caused by the settings in Cyanogenmod Settings>Display>Accelerometer Rotation... "0 degrees" is not chosen by default, when marked rotation works just fine. **** Thanks for the best rom ever made for Acer Liquid. :) Edited June 24, 2011 by Sammy Antepian
Guest gabriel92 Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I found a bug, GPS not working, not even out icon in the notification bar
Guest Morris Lee Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I found a bug, GPS not working, not even out icon in the notification bar GPS working in maps for me just fine, accurate to 3 meters it says. Check again if you have GPS enabled??
Guest Andy__P Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I found a bug, GPS not working, not even out icon in the notification bar Ha, maybe you have the same problem as i had. Did you use a Sense rom recently?
Guest kaerry Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) yes! i have flash the original bin! So: - flash original bin - flash recovery - wipe all one by one (not "wipe all") - flash cm7 Is it right? (someone had this problem with dirt between the display and protection film) Edited June 24, 2011 by kaerry
