Great rom! Thanks to developers!

But have a little annoying bug. Both on 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 Cyanogen auto brightness sliding window seems not working. Regardless of the values brightness changes immediately without any filtering.

I'm not sure but in earlier versions it worked.

+1 mee to..

in previous version it worked (1.1.1). Since 1.2.0 it's broken.

i still have excessive battery use from display (over 60%) even after applying 1.2.2 :)

never noticed it...

Can't download OTA, it starts the download, stays on 0% for 1sec and then it says download complete...

I've tried to reboot the phone several times, and the *.zip is 00.00kB... Am I the only one who can't download this update OTA? :)

I think this rom have game performances problems. Just played Cut the rope and Age of zombies and I experienced lot of lag, cut the rope was unplayable :/

Restored cm6 by gnufabio to test and games runs perfect with the same settings : cpu at 576 mhz and compcache set on 10 per cent.

I always install roms by doing a fresh bin install before and performing all wipes via recovery

EDIT : not enough memory I think in this rom Cut the rope gave me force close sometimes when it slows down drasticly

now the camera worked in all gingerbread builds but in the later ones like this one it cant install:( on ginger leo it still works....

very curious:( do you know why?:) and more important is there a way to make it work with this rom again?B)

I'm testing out the full battery stat reset today. I let the phone drain and shut itself off and then I charged it fully before booting to recovery and wiping battery stats. What I did notice in the previous versions (pre 1.2.2) is that wifi and radio standby both used the majority of power 50/50 between them. In this latest build screen uses the majority, which makes sense as the screen does use the majority of power when its running. I am trying out the cool render setting in CM settings to see if that reduces power consumption.

One thing I noticed is that often when the phone is going into standby after idling the screen will go black then come back on for a few seconds before going into standby. Its a strange thing to happen and I wonder what is causing it?

Any issues I had last night with crashing of tweetdeck and later gmail not working have been sorted out since I set things back to original settings in the OC menu.

I don't think that settings has any effect on normal LCD screens such as on the Liquid, since it has a constant backlight brightness. They apply for OLED screens since each pixel is lit up individually.

I am curious though to see if disabling the proximity sensor can help the battery a little more (already disabled auto-brightness), less sensors active usually saves battery.

Fair enough on the screen render, like you said its probably only going to effect OLED but no harm in trying.

Ive updated to 1.2.2 this afternoon and its the 2nd time that after an update (not a clean wipe-flash) google maps and navigation cause a reboot after max 3-5min. The last time was when i updated from 1.2 to 1.2.1 if im not mistaken. Ive used navigation with no problems on 1.2.1 after a clean flash, for at least 1h continously. Havent tested more, but apart from that everything looks good, perfectly good to be precise. Ive tried to uninstall/reinstall maps but nothing changed. This situation is causing a lot of frustration, basically because this is by all other means the perfect liquid rom but also because ive had to do 2 200km trips with a failing navigation, that was a bit tricky. I rely heavily on maps/navigation daily, so in case i dont find a solution for this matter ill have to revert to something else. It takes me about 2-3 hours to wipe/flash/wipe/install/etc so i couldnt possibly go through this every time i need to update to a new version. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i said, this IS the ultimate liquid rom! :) Thanx

Peace

Are you running with overclock speeds? Stock speed is 245-768 Mhz. Anything higher and the hardware wasn't designed to run at those speeds and hot temperatures. The first page should really mention to not OC when reporting problems.

Thanks

1) You should download 1.2.2 from first page.

2) Be sure you have one of the lasts froyo bin installed. (Currently i have 4.008.08.EMEA.VFIT with liquid E) chek it here

3) Install malez recovery (if you already don't have it)

4) Put the .zip you downloaded at the first step in your sdcard root

5) Flash it with malez recovery

If you have some doubts about steps above please read carefully this thread

All software-hardware testing that i do is always on standard speed 768MHz. Theres little point in not doing so.

For updates you don´t need to wipe. If you are on 1,1 I don´think you can flash 1.2.2 right on top of it. Because 1.2.2 requires 1.2, check the first post....
