It causes this bug happen more frequently since it disables wifi and reenables it many times.... Maybe jouicedefender it's similar... I'm using Go Launcher Ex and I can't rotate but in other apps it works fine(webbrowsing, SMS). If you use ADW Launcher you can rotate I think.
