Guest khamees79 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 A stupid question, What is ETA? P.S: Yes, I used Google, but I got so many answers that have nothing to do with this :) Thanks in advance
Guest simoneser Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Estimated time of arrival, release date :)
Guest vikings123 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 NICE 1.4 updated from 1.3.1 with ADS from LNP, worked great. Chose save as Liquidnext1.4 and autoflash. Thanks! Is 1.4 a full update or an incremental update? I downloaded it and found out the size is about 8x MB. Do I have to wipe everything before I flash the new version? And I guess Camcorder is not fixed yet.
Guest Chewy11 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 The liquid next updates are done in a great way. I did an each item wipe in Malez recovery the first time I came into Liquidnext and have done the updates as they come. no wipes since first, but same release offers first time flash into liquid next too. I did start fresh once after messing up settings and going into bootloop, aside from that this ROM is the most stable I have seen yet. Camcorder frame rate and battery drain seem to be only issues with possible solutions. We can always dream about FM radio and official CM but I must say I'm very happy right now.
Guest Beaujolais Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Since 1.3 battery drain has improved (lovered) significantely ... even when not using the percentage symbol ... thank you!
Guest rjscosta Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 It seems like it has an offset. :) I went to a totaly dark room and the lightsensor reports 480. Before the update on the same room it was arround 28. Any ideas? It really is a bug! I flashed Acer Original ROM, wiped, flashed LiquidNext 1.4, light sensor still screwed up! Went back to 1.3, light sensor works fine again! (reports 15 on a dark room vs. 480 on LiquidNext 1.4)
Guest so_keith Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Is the 1.4 has fixed the hidden SSID problem? Thank a lot
Guest nighos Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I wonder why this ROM is unroot and need to manually root myself. I can't use titanium backup and can't install busybox. I updated superuser and checked that titanium backup is there. Its so frustrating

Guest nighos Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Have you tried wiping all in recovery and reflashing ? Sure, I chose wipe all before flashing
Guest ikirt Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Sure, I chose wipe all before flashing Try flashing this in recovery File name: su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip File size: 289.85 KB
Guest siggey Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Sure, I chose wipe all before flashing Wipe all sometimes doesn't work. You must wipe every single voice. For me everything OK with titanium busybox and superuser.
Guest nighos Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Try flashing this in recovery File name: su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip File size: 289.85 KB I flashed this file and then the system becomes UNROOTED so I rooted it again in Malez recovery. Still Titanium doens't work :)
Guest ravendagrey Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I flashed this file and then the system becomes UNROOTED so I rooted it again in Malez recovery. Still Titanium doens't work :) I am having no problems with titianium backup on 1.4, the last full wipe I've done was after 1.2.1 and only updated from there

Guest Denny99 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 It really is a bug! I flashed Acer Original ROM, wiped, flashed LiquidNext 1.4, light sensor still screwed up! Went back to 1.3, light sensor works fine again! (reports 15 on a dark room vs. 480 on LiquidNext 1.4) My light sensor also have same problem in 1.4 but not in 1.3 Often show the value 4000 even in-door. Can not use auto brightness so I turnned it off now. If it cannot be fixed, I think I will downgrade to 1.3 :)

Guest Marcx87 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I really really really really really LOVE this ROM... I installed it few days ago, and actually I'm doing some battery and performance test.... Since yesterday (25h ago), it used only 31% of battery, and I have: launcherpro with a lot of open widget (fb/youtube/googleplus/shazam,calendar/pulse/twitter)... I also used the phone for few call (about 15mins), about 20-30mins of wifi and 10-15 mins gaming....

I updated superuser and checked that titanium backup is there. Its so frustrating I've never had issues with the ROM being unrooted. After wiping and reflashing, how did you re-introduce Titanium Backup into your device? Did you use an Update.Zip created with the app prior to reflashing, or reinstall from either an APK or the market? Myself, I always re-install it from an APK, as I've had issues with the update.zip method before. As long as your TitaniumBackup folder on your SD remains untouched you should be ok.

Guest Suxsem Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 thepasto, ms3c_yamaha is created also with get_prox removed. and it actually broke light sensor and change proximity sensor values. so i suggest to remove it. it is useless for us. what do you think about?

Guest cliclicli Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 tnx dev for this rom. I had the problem of softkey with the latest version. I inserted the values at 15 and I have resolved. The day after I put the values to 20, and I have not had any problems. With the 1.4, and the values at 20, I made a call and I immediately had the problem yet. is already the second time that happens to me, but only when I call the keys do not work. If this can help. thanks again for the rom
Guest luongdangtn Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I feel version 1.2.2 is faster than 1.4.
