1.6 is an update with no wipe from 1.5.3

or a clean flash with wipe from anything else.

1.6 done auto OTA, ALL OK! This time no auto reboot after flash ;)

2) Make all wipe, install 1.5.0 rom then install 1.6.0;

on step 2 you let fully load 1.5? Because if you dont, wi-fi will not work

Now wifi works.

only words.. I don't think you can find a working solution talking abuot wipe, no wipe, half wipe etc.... If you have problem with wifi scanning plese check your logcat while scanning so we will know what's the problem and maybe we can try to solve it. I wonder how you may prefer to wipe 2000 times instead of type "adb logcat" i think it's better and faster :P

Hi have try these:

2) Make all wipe, install 1.5.0 rom then install 1.6.0;

The wi-fi DOESN'T WORK! I cannot find my wi-fi, after 5/10 second the wi-fi is disabled!

Please make a fix!

Same problem, the bug is a not configured MAC adress

That's because you didn't check it with root privileges :)

It is almost the same as what I did, except that I already had a 1.5.3 installed. What I needed was to flash 1.6 on top of 1.5.3, without any wiping at all.

auch... the default file manager didn't ask me for root privileges thus I didn't notice.. anyway removing wpa_suppicant file didn't help, wifi keeps turning off after a few secs.

another thing I noticed, when I try to reboot (long press power button, reboot) the phone freezes and I've to remove the battery

i had this wifi problem on the last version!

but i am sure it was my fault, because i accidentally checked the google restore thing.

if you have the wifi problem (wifi goes on, searches for some seconds and goes off) do a wipe, reflash and DO NOT use titanium backup system restore things or the google restore.

you have to reenter all the wifi information after the flash. if your old accesspoints are still saved after a wipe, you will get this wifi problem sooner or later.

i got this problem 2 times now, and only solution was wiping and flashing until all wifi information is gone. everytime i tried to import my old wifi settings (via google or titanium backup) wifi ended messed up. not directly, but after a few days of roaming between 2 wifi-networks.

reboot from software often don't work, at least on my A1, power it off and then on. It's not a rom problem, it does it with any rom.

I wiped everything, deselected google backup/restore, wifi doesn't work anyway

This is what I am seeing in the logcat when I enable wifi:

This "solution" doesn't work!!Now i don't see nothing connection.

If i repair the newer rom 1.6, i came back ? Or is possible to send me a copy of the file?
