Here it is, Clockworkmod for the LG Optimus Black

The following has been tested and is working:

- Backup & Restore

- wipe data/factory reset

- wipe cache

- Reboot & Poweroff

- install zip from SD-Card

- Partition SD-Card

Notes:

- Use at your own risk! I´ll take no responsibility for any Bricks etc.

- Apperently the Optimus Black doesn´t have a Keycombination for going to Recoverymode on Booting. So at the moment CWM can only be accessed by rebooting the Phone to Recoverymode via App or Shell from a running System.

Downloads:

Clockworkmod v3.2.0.0 http://www.multiupload.com/QWMEW98NVQ

LG United Mobile Drivers (Windows) http://www.multiupload.com/5VGF3IM0SA (Needed when installing with MS Windows)

How to install:

1. Extract ZIP-File to your Local Computer

2. Connect the Phone with USB-Debugging enabled

3. Run The File install_recovery.bat (on Windows Systems) or install_recovery.sh(on Linux Systems)

Thanks to xantaro for everything

3.install terminal from android market...

4.open terminal, then input this command :

su

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4

5.voila u have CWM on your Optimus Black

notes : The phone must have been root...

Hi everyone

I've done all these steps. but I've got the message " write error: No space left on device" Must I change the path on the top? If yes, which would be the right one?

What should I do?

Thanks

I'm stuck in the CWM recovery screen. No matter what I do the phone just reboots into this screen. I tried to run install_recovery.sh from my linux box but apart from the daemon starting I got no feedback for 10 minutes. Is something supposed to happen or do I need to wait longer or do something else?
