I think it's because megaupload is a bit crap if you aren't a paid member as it severely limits the amount of times your files can be downloaded. I am willing to test with mine from next week that I have more time on my hands, not sure how much I can help but will give it a try ;) I am reluctant to put the Hungary Rom on first though since I need 3G working in Ecuador! I should be good to go with the Venezuela official 2.1 rom (Tibu reports 84.1Mb Internal and of this, I have 78.1Mb free). I am currently using CM7 which I flashed on top of this. I uninstalled many apps to get it trimmed down. I should be in good shape to test this rom. It was working just perfect on my phone! I just contact the one to whom I sold my pulse. And I ask him to let me pull out a clockworkmod backup from his phone! Tomorrow I'll give it to Tworck. And from that moment I'm leaving this Pulse forum! I wish you the best! I reduced it to 76.8.. but i still cant install. First thing you have to do before flashing this rom is nandroid bacup. Second is to format the DATA partition, or full wipe-fa.tory feset. And then install zip from sdcard. Tworck will you please add the FORMAT data line in the update-script right before the copy_dir DATA: line. so the update-script will format the data partition it self. Please. Thats the reason why CostumApkHidden.apk gets error. Also if you have to much apps installed in the previews rom, i can guess CM6 or 7, you will get error to. Its because of overloading the data partigion with the dalvik-cache of the apps. Better solution is to format the sd-ext to, before instaling this rom. And after the phone boots apply: a2sd cachesd in the terminal. and then install the apps again. You can use the titanium backup app to backup the installed apps before fornating the ext partition. I'll use it for a little while before I make any final verdicts on it. But I need to take my wife to dinner, so it'll be a few hours until I can really start testing it. My main reason for interest is your claim of long battery life. If that really happens and there are no other unresolvable bugs, I'll start modding it to fit my needs. Thanks. Pre-installation for me was a fresh flash of the UK 2.1 2011 updata.app (I was using the CHT8000 rom, and I wanted to test it on a more "prominent" system), boot once, reboot into fastboot and reinstall CW Recovery, reboot into Recovery to do a full wipe (cache, data, sdext), installed this ZIP.
