Guest pihx
Anyone heard when LG is going to give us 2.3 for Optimus Black? Is there any big difference? Is 2.2 maybe just good enough?
Guest abgar
Is there any big difference? Is 2.2 maybe just good enough? 2.3 is faster and preserves battery life better. There are rumours that LG is going to give up with 2.3 and deliver upcoming 2.4 for P970 but maybe it is a dream only.

Our phone is a pretty new device but I see no reason not to support it within few weeks. Hardware inside P970 is pretty common. As I know the same OMAP 3630 processor is inside: Samsung i9003, Motorola Droid X, Droid 2 and more Edited June 12, 2011 by abgar
