Guest shameful Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Have you tried looking in the flyer section of the forum for roms there?
Guest Logseman Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Have you tried looking in the flyer section of the forum for roms there? ;) :P :D He means a normal paper flyer, not the HTC Flyer :D This HannsPad looks like it could be a vega clone, but I'm not too sure. Guest shameful Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Doh. I really did read that as HTC Flyer without noticing the subject. ;)
Guest beegee1962 Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 The specs look similar, but this tablet has hardware buttons on the right side of the screen. Don't think the Vega ROMs run on it.
Guest alpha232 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 The gtab honeycomb roms run on it, in fact its what im using to post this message! I'll need to do more playing to try to get the soft touch buttons working though. Its on special at ebuyer in the uk as well just now
Guest marksmith34 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 I just wondered, the reviews of the Hannspad say the touchscreen was unresponsive, how have you found it. (It's down to £169 at ebuyer).
Guest Unipete Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Doesn't have a camera but has 16GB built in and is cheap. Course, if the touch screen is unresponsive then it might not be worth it.
Guest alpha232 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 It's not exactly the quality of a £500 tablet for a capacitive screen but it's not as bad as resistive - there's no other way i can put it. If you want to know any more i'll be glad to help any way i can.
Guest renners Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 Hi, I have just bought a hannspree hannspad sn10t1,got it from bestbuy for £161 after using their price beat guarantee and showing them ebuyers site. Anyway obviously it lacks full android market and so want to root it but there is a real lack of info anywhere on this particular tablet and I'm not particularly tech minded. Hoping someone might be able to post step by step proceedure or a link to such? Don't want to brick it so needs to be confirmed for my tablet and hopefully will help others The tablet itself is pretty decent if you take the price into account but if I can root it with something stable it should be a real budget option Model number:SN10T1 Android OS version:2.2 Kernel version:2.6.32.9-00001-g0e0c333-dirtyhudson@tapntapbuild #7 Build number FRF91 Hope someone can help Cheers renners
Guest alpha232 Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 I have a funny feeling I replied to you on another forum today, renners. I've rooted the hannspad and got the market/etc working on it, I'm in the process of re-writing the guide here: http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/18369-hannspree-10st1/page__view__findpost__p__207068
Guest Minimonkey Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Paul tweeted that he should be opening a forum for this today and may get hold of one so if he does work his magic with it it will be a bargain as it's selling for 149 on ebuyer eBay

Hannspree also don't want to play ball and have "no plans to release the kernel source" :( I did reply and say to them that they need to to comply with the GPL but they'll probably just ignore me
Guest PacGhost Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 On Ebay,Ebuyer are doing this for £149.99 and this weekend only, an extra 15% off electronics with paypal (code CUKHGFRQ1) Not bad for £127.49
Guest renegade07 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 just for information, it seems there is 3 version of this tablet (1633, 1653 and i don't remenber the last one) and it seems that the 1633 have a less good tn lcd than 1653 and it seems that some are solding 1633.
