Just got a flyer today from the local electronics store here in Spain.

They are selling this tablet for 249 euros

It uses a arm duel core processor.

has anyone come across this pad?.

Could it run corvus5?

Have you tried looking in the flyer section of the forum for roms there?

;) :P :D

He means a normal paper flyer, not the HTC Flyer :D

This HannsPad looks like it could be a vega clone, but I'm not too sure.

The specs look similar, but this tablet has hardware buttons on the right side of the screen. Don't think the Vega ROMs run on it.

The gtab honeycomb roms run on it, in fact its what im using to post this message! I'll need to do more playing to try to get the soft touch buttons working though.

Its on special at ebuyer in the uk as well just now

I just wondered, the reviews of the Hannspad say the touchscreen was unresponsive, how have you found it. (It's down to £169 at ebuyer).

Doesn't have a camera but has 16GB built in and is cheap.

Course, if the touch screen is unresponsive then it might not be worth it.

It's not exactly the quality of a £500 tablet for a capacitive screen but it's not as bad as resistive - there's no other way i can put it.

If you want to know any more i'll be glad to help any way i can.

Hi, I have just bought a hannspree hannspad sn10t1,got it from bestbuy for £161 after using their price beat guarantee and showing them ebuyers site.

Anyway obviously it lacks full android market and so want to root it but there is a real lack of info anywhere on this particular tablet and I'm not particularly tech minded. Hoping someone might be able to post step by step proceedure or a link to such? Don't want to brick it so needs to be confirmed for my tablet and hopefully will help others

The tablet itself is pretty decent if you take the price into account but if I can root it with something stable it should be a real budget option

Model number:SN10T1

Android OS version:2.2

Kernel version:2.6.32.9-00001-g0e0c333-dirtyhudson@tapntapbuild #7

Build number FRF91

Hope someone can help

Cheers renners

Paul tweeted that he should be opening a forum for this today and may get hold of one so if he does work his magic with it it will be a bargain as it's selling for 149 on ebuyer eBay

I followed it up on twitter, because of some bad reviews he's not going to get one it seems.

Hannspree also don't want to play ball and have "no plans to release the kernel source" :( I did reply and say to them that they need to to comply with the GPL but they'll probably just ignore me
