LG-P350 Camera stopped working after LG upgrade

can someone help.

I purchase the phone from the phone house on spain on 6-6-2011.

On monday 13-6-2011 i decided to install the lg software, i plugged the phone in at it told me there was an update for the phone.

I updated and since then the camera or any app which uses the camera will not work not work.

The error messages I get are as follows:

default camera app -"failed to start preview", All i get is a blank screen.

Fast burst camera lite - "camera could not be started, this is most likely caused by another camera app that does not unlock the camera. Please close all other camera apps and try again".

I have done both a factory and hard reset and the problem is still there.

I called lg support this monrning and they told me the phone may need flashing back, but only lg can do this.

Can i do this myself, or do lg really need to do this?.
