This might sound dumb but whats different in the CM7 music app?

I never really noticed anything.

On the ZTE one, the play, forwards and backwards buttons are grey... Wich's very hugly I think. On the CM7 one these buttons are black, it's really better.

I've tried to replace the music.apk from the one from CM7 but get FC. If you can take a look, it'll be great.

I've also remove espeacker, RomManager, DSP Manager and things like that, the rom is light and look very clean.

One little question. Don't know if you can answer to that.

I've got duplicate contacts, those of my google account and those of my Sim card. On CM7 I can choose to not show those of my Sim card with the "Display Option". With this rom and CM7 Dialer/contacts, I can't choose to hide my Sim card contacts.

Any idea ? It's not so bad, just a small detail. :)

You can look for the CRT animation for more Gingerbread Vanilla experience. ^^

hi thanks for getting Facebook sync working but in contacts there is a white line with photo. can this be resolved please in ss rls5 it was hope u can to :)

also GPS issue still remains same as rom u base this off are u working on a fix?

installed apps via a file manager are not added in downloaded apps in market can this be fixes?

IMHO you can add this in your rom, I think most of people prefer the AOSP music app, wait for some others feedback anyway. :)

Include it, please. It's basically stock music app except the support for ID3-Tag album artist. If you like compilations like I don't know 'Bravo Hits' or 'Now That's What I Call Music', you have a much nicer and tidier Artist column.

Making it AOSP as much as possible (yet including some neat CM customizations) would be the best decision.

edit:

I just installed the power menu addon and apparently it broke the crt animation I had applied before. It seems that burstlam's offering a sweet combo of crt animation + power menu addon but it also contains option to unlock the phone (wake it I guess) by using menu button, which isn't very reasonable for me. Is there any way to combine just crt animation and power menu additions?

Thanks a lot for the feedback, you guys (and gals) are great!

Ill gladly include the CM7 music player in the rom.

But Im having trouble with the Dailer.

When I try to copy the apks to the system/app dircetory they dont "install" right and you cant find an use them.

Out of some strange reason they work if you flash them as a seperate addon.

If anybody knows how to fix this id be really thankful.

When I said I knew how to hide the sim contacts I was using the ZTE dailer and not the cm7 one.

Unfornatly I don't have the solution for the dialer install sorry. It's ok for the Sims contact hide, I'll try to find another solution. Your rom is on the right way to be one of the best alternative to CM7 I think. B)

(Weird thing, my screen turn On himself twice whith no call, no sms, no notification... Oo Hope it's nothing. :))

ikroutdroid - any ideas if you could do 'blacklist' feature from CM7? - Other wise - It's LOVELY ROM and I like where it's going. I've used the battery real well but too early to feedback on that battery status. Will give feedback in few hours :)

Does this rom have the problem of GPS not working if it disabled then re enabled? (as Ginger Stir Fry Beta 4 does)
