Guest trandrew Posted June 23, 2011 Report Share Posted June 23, 2011 Hey guys, long time reader first time poster. i have the dell streak 5, im quite happy with it. was very happy with it for agood 8 months... i got bored of it last night and i wanted to root it so i can use titanium back up and other apps only thing is ive gone and bricked the dell... boots to dell logo, soft keys flash but no boot up. this happened right after i tried super boot (i think it was the wrong build) ive tried the 2.1 update via stock recover, even though stock firmware was frayo 2.2 (i put it into the sd drive and also changed name to update.apk, but it stopps at a black blank screen) ive also tried a factory reset via stock recovery too... at this stage this community is my last hope. thanks in advance -andrew Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hope that works just went there myself to verify it is up and running. i have problems installing the drivers for the QDLtool. i disabled the verifier.exe, well least i did according to google. but it says no changes made and yeah, im stuck. any ideas? thanks for all the help alrdy.
