I've managed to get audi to come up but can't get the vega in recovery mode .... grr, more patience

I can tell which is the vega mass storage device because of the 0095 id - might have to save that step for tomorrow

Thanks to you all - no idea what I did, bit of a roller coaster ride, but it's flashed back to stock rom - I would say big thanks to the audi tool, yay

Might leave it for a bit now before r8 or vegacomb 1.6

download rom manager and install clockwork mod then you can do all your back ups and new rom installs so much easier and without fear :)
