I've tried to flash the test version, but every time I try i get an error:

E: Can't chown/mod /system/bin/Conversation.apk

(No such file or directory)

E:Failure at line 5:

set_perm 0 0 00755 SYSTEM:bin/Conversation.apk

Installation aborted.

Update 1.0.1 flashes fine.

I've downloaded both packs. I didn't have any problems when flashing the update pack, but the installation was aborted when I tried to flash the test pack.

But yes i'm aware of that LOL :) Therefore its test pack just need to know if it works.

I'm preparing an new test pack that fixes hopefully the correct name and some nice updates BUT I CANT GUARENTEE TO WORK so make a BACKUP first B)

Test the above posted packs please, if those work and if yes, which pack works. Also results please.

Flash this if 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 are not working to restore default.

Thanks for helping me, this will certainly speed things up when i have the phone from Chris. I'll keep everything here in notepad lol and when i got it i'm quite a big step further in this release.

Flash this if 1.0.2 will not boot! This replaces 1.0.2 completely!!!!

Just flashed 1.0.3, bootanimation loop. The phone doesn't reboots, boot it keeps showing the bootanimation over and over again!!

EDIT: And my battery is hot like hell!!!

Flashed 1.0.4 over 1.0.3 and now it boot's.

Conversations and settings were working here since the beginning. But now the background is black when i scroll throw the names. And black background in phonebook to when scroll!

3G is working.

What else to test????

Okey tell me;

- are the names correct settings = settings? conversations is conversations?

or settings = cancel? is the background black in settings app or conversations or both?

Flash 1.0.5 this is the same as 1.0.4/1.0.3 but working differently..

Settings is "Definições" that means Settings in Portuguese but the background is black.

Conversations is "Mensagens" that means messages in Portuguese and it's working fine.

The phonebook turns the background black when scrolling through the names.

EDIT: About the pin code I don't know, I don't have pin code. It enters directly to the lock screen.

Is it correct that you flashed the test update 1.0.1 and you flashed 1.0.4 and then you have

- correct names of settings and conversations

- correct background in conversations app

- black background in settings and phonebook

What about the screen for touching in your sim code? When booting phone it asks for sim pincode that is the screen i meant.

You can also flash 1.0.6 and tell me the results. This should correct the background issues and maybe name issues also.

Then flashed 1.0.3 and got bootloop, then flashed 1.0.4 and the rom booted.

Did you flashed 1.0.5? If yes what where te results? background color and app names etc? Same for 1.0.6
