Hello. I want to buy a galaxy s from my friend, but phone have has two issues:

First issue:After he turn on phone it takes atleast 5 seconds to turn on screen and than we can unlock phone.

second issue:When he wants to end the call he can't because screen seems to be turned off.

Does anyone know how to fix this 2 problems? and sorry for my english because i'm from europe. :)

Maybe there is a problem with the "proxymity sensor". If it is software related, a recalibration or flashing a new rom would solved. If it is hardware problem, it means the phone needs to be repair. There are some apps in the market (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mtorres.phonetester) that could help you to detect these problems.

GPS faulty, bad speaker, broken button,...maybe...bu I would not buy a phone that does not turn on the screen: no screen - no phone :)

Good luck!

Galaxy S runs the old outdated OS, so dont buy it, secondly Galaxy S has battery, camera and bluetooth problems.

So before buying it try to know the pros and cons.

Your second problem is related to the hardware and not software, so dont buy the galaxy S from your friend.

hard issues can only be replaced at the customer service centers.
