They're not that pricey (especially for smaller values) and it would mean you wouldn't accidently leave the card in your camera or vice versa. I've got a 256Mb SD and would like to Rom dump and use the same card for me other de-certed stuff. I dont think its possible as the OS probably recognises it as one drive and would format anyway...
