Guest Silverridge Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Hi! I've tried an iso-install of both Eclair and Froyo to "my storage" and everything that should work seems to be working fine, however the phone seems extremely slow and sluggish. I searched for the phenomenon and found some info regarding the cpu-speed so i installed setcpu and tried setting it between 400 and 800 when its awake but the phone remains as sluggish as before. Reported cpuspeed was 800 when i checked so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Does the androidport make the phone slower than when it was running WinMo? Should this be expected or are there anything that i can do to speed things up? I would really appreciate any help i can get! Bare in mind that English isn't my native language and my skills are somewhat limited so please try to keep it as simple as possible :) Thanks in advance /S
