During the installation it said that it was all "okay" or something..

But suppose that it isnt installed at all, how can i install it properly?

I mean, you can't do anything more that starting the install_recovery

right?

EDIT

Also tried to reinstall the acer driver but withouth anny positive effect.

Some more info:

When i do the key combo, it looks like it wants to start (unzipping the box figure)

but then i get the android standing next to a triangle figure and i'm stuck (need to remove the battery)

Anyone?

i just try to install it and i got exactly the same result..it is bad installed but i can't understand why..maybe vache can help us

It doesnt work for me..

The installation of OS_Acer_4.000.13.EMEA.GEN1_A23G_LiquidMT (official) and RecoveryMT-3.0

went fine. Till i tried to install a custom rom.

When i'm trying to open recovery via the key combo i'll get an android standing in a triangle with a

exclamation point, also tried opening recovery via quickboot. But the app closes when i hit recovery.

Anyone knows what went wrong?

Already reinstalled both the os and recovery and did a wipe via the os itselfe (including sd card)

I have this issue too.

But when I use adb commend "adb reboot recovery",it can enter CMW successfully.

Whats wrong with key combo?

How do you root it without enter recovery to install superuser? Shell needs root to restart into recovery right?

"adb reboot recovery" needs no root :)

EDIT: use Volume Up + Focus + Power On, release and press focus again after vibrate => this works for me ;)

EDIT2: Recovery doesn't wipe SD-Ext

EDIT3: Recovery doesn't backup SD-Ext

EDIT4:

I did a nandroid backup with v3.0 but...

It's over 1 GB in size!!!

android_secure.img 420mb

android.img 448mb

boot.img 5mb

cache.img 0mb

data.img 117mb

nandroid.md5 0mb

recovery.img 5mb

system.img 164mb

these files are stored after a backup in CWM in clockworkmod/backup/2011-11-04

I have a 16 gb microsd, fat32 formatted, no ext or so.

any idea?

Android.img is /sdcard/Android/*

Thnx TechoLover!

Don't know why the keycombo changed but the Volume Up + Focus + Power did the trick

Thanks again

Was there any problem with v2.2 or is there any need of v3.0?

I think I will revert back to v2.2...

How long should it take? Since 20 minutes I have "fastboot: download;00448000" message on Acer screen and "sending 'recovery '" on process window ... any advices?

edited: instead of making combos I use Superoboot, seems to be much easier.

edited2: ok, 23 minutes - just ignore my question :)

this recovery doesn't support sd-ext at the moment, it's a bug.

same as me, try vol+,focus,power-->when phone vibrates--->release power but keep pressing vol+ and focus

it works for me, it seams that this recovery changed buttons combo

Hi guys, I feel so stupid.....I put the latest CWM recovery on from the market, v4 something, and I can't get this one back.

Everytime I boot into recovery it keeps coming up with the v4 one.

How do I get rid of it and put this v3 one on ?

Thanks

Could someone confirm this to me:

In 2.2 is the + ext option meaning it will back up the link2sd partition on your SD card or something else?

In other words it it a useless option if you don't have ext on your SD card?

Yep it backs up the Link2SD partition.

Ah thanks so I was fully backing my phone up all a long (I didn't have links2SD at the time).

I thought someone said it would backup ext partitions on the phone, I was mistaken.
