Guest pmmct Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Yes, it absolutely a joke. The highest battery I've seen was 5 days and 7 hours on GSFB9 or B10 in GSF thread. So I keep asking other to show 7 days usage else to say how good the battery is  I get 28-38 hours with ordinary use - with wifi, gps and mobile data sync. But it also depends on how many voice calls are made etc. "saying it twice, doesn't make it any more true" Anyway, voice calls are important to the drain, but if you play regularly, you'll be lucky to get your battery through a full day. (even if it's just Solitaire!)

(even if it's just Solitaire!) I've got away with playing Asphalt for 4 hours and SpeedX for 3 hours - at a stretch and battery still lasted over 32 hours  Ps: That was silly double post. Modaco forum always does that to me. No other forum does, but this one, always too sensitive to clicks
Guest _BG_ Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 (edited) Any chance on an updated version of Rockstarzzz's - HybridHoney Mega Theme for the B12, but with the updated framework-res.apk from here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=at...st&id=74149 ? Edited July 10, 2011 by _BG_
Guest rockstarszzzz Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Any chance on an updated version of Rockstarzzz's - HybridHoney Mega Theme for the B12, but with the updated framework-res.apk from here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=at...st&id=74149 ? Did you get any issues with B12 when using the theme? ideally it should have any issues as the framework file isn't changed massively. If it's not working with B12, then please let me know and am happy to make a new one
Guest Yuccaman Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 OK, different question this..... Anyone know the hexidecimal value for the green in the stock icons ? I'd like to make a certain style of battery mod in the UOT kitchen but want the green to be the same at the other icons  Cheers,

If you could please update the theme it would be great, but if not that's ok, no problem :)
Guest Redflake Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 I make it out to be roughly #8cdf08 dark=79a600 light=93d500
Guest Yuccaman Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 On the screen, #A4C639 looked closer than #8cdf08 Cooking at the moment - Cheers chaps.....
Guest Yuccaman Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Ended up cooking all three and Redflake's was the closest match to my eyes... Many thanks all.... Just discovered though that anytime I flash a theme, the Swype keyboard stops working as it needs to generate a new licence. I assume it must use framework_res or SystemUI in some shape or form.....

Guest ocirnes Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Good morning Redflake, first of all, I want to thank you for your fantastic Ginger Stir Fry theme, I like it very much. But I wonder if you could apply the latest change: http://android.modac...ost__p__1759225 ('zoom buttons are too faint' fixed) Because this update is overwriting your theme. Thanks so much in advance.

Guest nre Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Thanks for the B13 theme, it fixes the main things I didn't like (notification area too transparent, overscroll animation, standard battery icon) and looks great with the green theme...
Guest Gelios Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Redflake, you made it in the UOT kitchen?

Guest Yuccaman Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Redflake, That theme is a work of art..... My only improvement to it before flashing was to replace the GPS Icon with a version that flashes in green rather than grey when searching for a signal.... In your screens for the B12 theme, what is the Wallpaper ? I would like to grab that and add it to my available choices. Cheers,
Guest Chris Banks Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Cooked up a quick status bar in the kitchen with b13-update2. Slightly more easy to read in my opinion... think the whites a little to white for my liking, and im not so keen on the footer so may have another play tomorrow, but thought i would share anyway. note.zip
