anyone had luck installing a darker theme for this rom? with custom kernel? ive tried installing the rom first then theming but still it wont change even if i havent installed the custom kernel yet

Another fine release by TripNRaVeR! The road to TripNMiUI "Iris" 2.0.

Changelog 1.7.3:

- Restyled

- Updated framework to make things possible in future releases ( ... ;-) )

- Themes updated

- Recompiled some apps

- This is base for 1.8 that will be available in the weekend

I truly believe that Trip is concentered on a new Ginger ROM, last news about unlocking bootloader convinced me about it, so... why loosing time on a Froyo´s ROM ( even if it´s so perfect ) ? :blink:

Your 1.7.3 run perfectly on BB.67, very fluid, very nice, so thank you again !

Note: I dropped the customs kernels because it causes reboots, but honest, with the stock kernel I do not see the difference ! You rock !

I get an odd issue with the graphic equalizer on the lockscreen showing up randomly and just playing away as if music is on, but there is no music. If I then turn on music it continues to go. I can't turn it off until I reboot.

it seems very reluctant and often refuses to change lock screen theme and txt message theme (in both cases wallpaper can be changed I am talking about the whole environment)

other than that this rom is my daily and it rocks

They can be applied, just some of them cant as they are for different versions of MIUI. Just try downloading different ones from the theme manager.

Also if they dont work the first time, give the phone a quick reboot and try again, some of the themes just seem to take a whiile to be applied.

Im using z's custom kernal from xda, have a search though his custom kernal topic and you will find one you can use.

Currently im overclocked to 1.119ghz and uncapped fps so i get 48+ fps on quadrant test.

yes!! you're right !! i've test now and it works...

so far , the only one....but the status bar is ugly and its no tranparent in the main screen...

you guys think that's better i downgrade the version or wait for 1.8 ?

Hi dude, I've Froyo 1.6.9 in my X10a and it rocks :P (My baseband is 2.1.54), I like to install GB as you did with the new BB 67, I've done some research but I've it not completely clear if I need to:

1 - Flash Stock 2.1 back

2 - Flash BB 67

3 - Do the normal steps for custom roms (root, busybix, xrec, etc) to get Gingerbread 0.8 or latest Trip's Froyo :P

or simply flash BB 67 to my Froyo and then just use Xrecovery and flash GB or latest Froyo over my actual Froyo (What a mess :S)

I don't want to brick my phone :P ... Help is welcome ;-)
