Guest AndroAsc Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Hi, been away for a while... so I'm still using a custom WM 6.1 ROM released sometime in May 2010 (forgot who cooked it). I'm now looking for a new ROM, any recommendations? My top criteria are stability and fast performance (no lagging). I have a few questions: 1) Should I stick to WM6.1, cause I heard WM6.5 can be laggy... but that was over a year ago. Has things changed? Which OS version and which build should I go for? 2) Is there anything that is not included in most cooked ROM releases due to "copyright" issues? I know Swype is not there... anything else (e.g. 3D drivers, etc...)?

Guest Marmach Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 I use Rapid JI1 6.5.3 (without Sense) + JJ1 Phone + JI1 CSC + JH2 eboot. I don't use Samsung Today / Sense / whatever because they were all too slow for me, so I started using WP7-styled "Host" from xda. Everything works very smooth, especially compared to the stock 6.5 ROM and it's quite stable.
