@ajay ashish

to select forced 3G

1. disconnect data

2. goto samsung settings>network settings>band selection and chose WCDMA

now u will hav forced 3g if the area has 3G coverage

also to avoid the hassle of going thru so many steps, install wmlong life bye chainfire, it has built in band switcher so that u can easily toggle between 2g and 3g bands

Once i do that ... it goes to no network mode... there is no towers and can't even choose a network manually...

Now what does that mean... is B7610 don't have 3G capability...

this means that even ur having unlimited plans.operators charge for the gprs or 3g in international romming.

It has a 3G coverage in the area... it has upgraded to 4g even recently... i tried it in different location today and whenever i change to WCDMA it has no connection... even when i try to manually do that it don't allow me that even and there is no network there.

Go to Settings>Network Settings>HSDPA

Just Enable HSDPA... Restart your phone... Thats it you are done...

It is always enabled for me by default.
