Guest davidevinavil Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) If you have something like this * daemon not running. starting it now * * daemon started successfully * List of devices attached 35280904******** device you have a working sdk, so extract recoo.img from windows script and put on c: Reboot phone in bootloader mode with key combo (vol+ and power) Then open dos command and type this fastboot -i 0x0502 flash recovery recoo.img fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot Now phone will reboot and recovery will flash. To enter in recovery power off phone and press vol+, vol-, camera focus and power at the same time until you enter in recovery Edited July 28, 2011 by davidevinavil

Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) Hi, This is what I do, First install rom 1.100.49 avaiable from acer website Then install amonra recovery 1.0.1 by Vache http://vachounet.pos...al-recovery-101 Enter into recovery, made nand backup, made full wipe and flash rom in recovery mode which is using the zip file. I get stuck a lot...I have to reset many times...It also resets itself (especially when i try to download something from market) any problems with any of my steps? Edited July 31, 2011 by recorder
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Try to wipe all also dalvik cache and reflash rom
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Still the same thing happening... Wipe all is same with wipe all datauser right? I used the wipe in the nandroid backup is it because i have recovery 0.8 too?
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) if i installed recovery 1.0.1 then to recovery 0.8 it overwrites the previous one? because by just installing 1.0.1 i can't get Rom manager to do the back up or go into recovery mode Edited July 31, 2011 by recorder
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Yes try recovery 1.0.1 http://vachounet.pos...al-recovery-101 and wipe separately.. wipe only /data wipe only /sd wipe only /sdcard/.android_secure wipe only /cache wipe only Dalvik-cache
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 if i installed recovery 1.0.1 then to recovery 0.8 it overwrites the previous one? because by just installing 1.0.1 i can't get Rom manager to do the back up or go into recovery mode Don't use rom manager.. To enter into recovery use quick boot and yes flash 1.0.1 over 0.8
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) doesn't get stuck now but still auto resets... ops said too early...it still stuck...maybe i try factory default first and try it all over again i will tell you how it goes Edited July 31, 2011 by recorder
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Don't use rom manager.. To enter into recovery use quick boot and yes flash 1.0.1 over 0.8 ya...using quickboot
Guest mars13579 Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 i think it is too unstable……always stuck
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 i think it is too unstable……always stuck I used it for 5 day.. Never stuck at all and never reset/reboot..
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 problem still cannot be solved ...still stuck and auto reboot. But it does make it 1GHz and also removes the frame limits
Guest recorder Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) hmmm i did all over again... still the same thing.. Stuck and also often reboot itself... don't know what's wrong I realise that if i don't do anything it's fine and won't get stuck or auto reboot. if there is anyone else having this same problem please state it as well. Thanks Edited July 31, 2011 by recorder
Guest recorder Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Could the problem be that i updated it from android 2.2.2.??
Guest davidevinavil Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 You must flash Acer rom 1.100.49 and then custom rom
Guest recorder Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 oh??? flash the acer orginal os?? not doing the normal installation?
Guest davidevinavil Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 First install rom 1.100.49 avaiable from acer website Then install amonra recovery 1.0.1 by Vache. Enter into recovery, made nand backup, made full wipe and flash rom Enjoy.... This is on first post please read it
Guest recorder Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) davideinavil~ Another assumption I'm going to make on the problem... My phone is running under acer liquidmetal 1.100.49 AAP GEN2 Could the GEN2 be the problem here? Edited August 2, 2011 by recorder
Guest AminH Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 is this really as unstable as it says?
