Guest Ritchstorm Posted July 23, 2011 Report Posted July 23, 2011 Used to use Japanese Jellyfish and loved it but decided to upgrade to GEN2 (CM7). Was a bit disappointed as it was a bit laggier and was thinking about going back to Japanese Jellyfish but after installing Launcher Pro, this is incredible. CM7 is insane. I've always looked at my friends £400 HTCs with their smooth scrolling and been jealous. No more! Thanks for suggesting this <3 I used SS RLS5 for a few months and you're right it is fantastic. However, now I am using Cyanogen 7, this thing is "off the hook"! Nightly 125+, includes the patches, and it really runs like a dream. But the real beauty is the stuff under the hood. Over clockable kernel, built in screen lock delay, built in screen shots, the damn power widget some folks love so much, the list just goes on. If you use it with Launcher Pro, it just becomes stupid fast. Not a little bit faster, a LOT faster. I am not trying to convert anyone, but once you've tried CM 7 125+, there is really no going back. Anil.
Guest jamesbooth Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Since I got my phone in April I used CM7 up until about 2 weeks ago when I decided to try GSF. the battery life was infinitely better and I didn't have one reboot, not once in a two week period. Last night, I thought I'd try the latest CM7 Nightly to see if they're an improvement on the 'stable' ROMs. They're not. I've had two reboots since then and my phone battery has drained from 100% at 11.30 this morning to 52%. GSF was giving me at least double that. Sorry,CM7, but at the moment I much prefer the GSF ROM.
Guest tunasized Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 >< still using swedish spring mainly cuz i'm kinda scared to try anything new with the phone, it def does lag alot especially when i'm texting ppl :( Hoping to get the GSF since so many ppl are using it D:
Guest solidslash Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 GSF all the way. iPhone-like smoothness and stability. I don't personally care for CM7 settings.
