Guest Simon O Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 I totally agree with you that this phone is different from standard blade but ZTE is to be blamed who is marketing it with the trademark Blade. So, I thought starting this thread will help eliminating the confusion among blade users. Putting this thread some where else is unfair, as it is being market as ZTE-Blade by the manufacturer. That's fine. I have no problem with the thread being here now, but people will need to be aware that any ROM for this phone will most likely not work on any other devices. Different CPU, very different radio.. A shame really.
Guest oris_russia Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) Wow, at last, market is UP. Here is the addon for installing market on ZTE T-U880 (flash using ClockWorkMod Recovery). addon_market_Zte_T-U880.zip Hi, Solidchips! I'm Android newbie and I've got exactly same phone. How can I get market? Could you give me an instruction, please. Don't mentions. I've rooted my phone. Recovery installed. Problem with addon_market. E:Error in /sdcard/addon_market_Zte_T-U880.zip Why error? Edited August 3, 2011 by oris_russia

Guest fizpaket Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 Guys, help please. I've benn trying the Clockwork from the chinese forums cause it's the only one that seem to load, but it's says that it can't mount /sdcard. Any ideas how to fix it? Yes, i plugged and unplugged, formatted.
Guest lstarsun Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 it's just a new kind of phone producted by ZTE and released in the mainland of China. From the informations I can get now, it has a larger(512) RAM and a diffrent CPU from our blade(we call it V880 in China). Oh, i almost forgot it, the U880 can't use the blade's(V880) ROMs. I'm from the mainland of China.
Guest solidchips Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Hi fizpaket The clockwork recovery for U880 does not support all the features. AFAIK, you can't backup/restore using nandroid, can't mount sdcard etc.
Guest fizpaket Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 So what do i do? Is there any possibilty to install roms or do backups on this phone?

Guest whiski Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Where can I find a windows XP driver for this phone? Edited September 19, 2011 by whiski
Guest solidchips Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Root: - Download the file "Root_U880.zip" and extract it on your pc. - Install the drivers on your pc. - Execute the "Superonecick.exe" and root your phone. Recovery - Download the "recovery_u880.img" file, copy it on root of sdcard. - Download "RecoveryManager_v0.36b.apk" and install it on phone. - Open the application "RecoveryManager_v0.36b" and install the recovery manually. Done, if you have any problem let me know.recovery_u880.img
Guest solidchips Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Zip file for Root.Root_U880.zip
Guest solidchips Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Unable to attach Recovery manager apk file, you can find it on modaco.
