Follow the instructions he posted. Than you can record @800x480 with lgcamera (and other video apps). i use h263 encoder, mpeg4, ACC audio encoder. I may work on ginger stir fry and other gingerbread roms, but i havent tested.

Thanks for this, it definately improved lgcamera video recording on ginger stir fry b17. Can't use 800x480 but 640x480 works fine, much better recording quality.

anyone got this working at 640X480 with around 24 fps ? I mean that would be the ideal compromise.

What settings do you use? I am using gingerbread stir fry b17 and it does not stop recording the video even if I press the record button.

I'm using lgcamera pro 5.95

Most settings are on default or auto

Video settings:

640x480

H.263

Mpeg4

2 Mbit

Auto framerate

Auto rotate disabled

Audio settings:

Audio source Mic

AAC

16000 Hz

62900 bitrate

Stereo mode disabled

I have a class 6 4Gb sdcard from sandisk. Lgcamera installed on internal nand.
