Guest sQeeZ Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) :P P Good to have you back Paul!! Looking forward to your next release! Any ETA on when we'll see this beauty? Edited September 27, 2011 by sQeeZ
Guest Paul Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Currently running the build through the MoDaCo optimisation scripts. I'll get a dev kitchen up as soon as possible and develop that into a full release with prebakes (replacing the current Fr and Gr releases) as quick as I can, taking requests for features as we go. :D P
Guest ezangrando Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Can you release a basic version of gr3 till we wait to a complete one? can't wait to see the improvements from v20e , have you got 20i radio too? edit, you already answered thx =P Edited September 27, 2011 by ezangrando

Guest max.sh4dow Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 what's the kernel version ? old 2.6.32.9 ?
Guest dombera Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) "I'll get a dev kitchen up as soon as possible and develop that into a full release with prebakes (replacing the current Fr and Gr releases) as quick as I can, taking requests for features as we go. :D" Looks like I`ll be cooking my lunch in your kitchen instead of mine ;) Can`t wait! As asked before- have you got new baseband and ril with it? Edited September 27, 2011 by dombera
Guest Paul Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 No new baseband (should be used with previous GB baseband i'm told), RIL is obviously in the ROM. Kernel is, and will remain for the actual LG release, 2.6.32.9. P
Guest aaww Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Will be nice to see latest Super User and Titanium backup in the kitchen. Please
Guest Piter1225 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Vanilla Gingerbread version would be cool too!
Guest unfun Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Vanilla Gingerbread version would be cool too! +1 on that, i hate the lg dialer and sms, they are so slow
Guest crazy_elmo Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I would love the option for te overglow and reboot if possible... ;-) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260858
Guest Nic0co Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) what is Overscroll glow? ok, I found excuse me... A GREAT feature we need is a MoDaCo OTA update system ;) Edited September 27, 2011 by Nic0co
Guest CopEater Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 screen on- off-animation would be also cool
Guest Diskbox Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Guessing we'll still need to flash a different kernel to underclock to save battery on a night? oh actually, gtalk with video working properly would be great too. Edited September 27, 2011 by Diskbox
Guest c.joenie Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I would like to be able to backup my settings to google :), and it would be great to be able to connect to invisible wireless networks (FR19 gives me some problems there..) and to be able to have a more advanced/better quality camera and to have the ability to use the videocard to the fullest :D.

And did you see the KDZ file of SU660 v20f release? Maybe you get latest baseband from there, as that BB is one month newer than our 725 GB one. Edited September 27, 2011 by bhanvadia
Guest mankian Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 There is a 0823 baseband out there somewhere that even reports as 0823. I flashed it but NO idea where I found it! It was in four files and I got the idea it was from a V21 canada build (though it seems to work great on Vodafone UK too!)

Guest Paul Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Will be nice to see latest Super User and Titanium backup in the kitchen. Please Yes, for sure. Vanilla Gingerbread version would be cool too! As far as possible yes, i'll be doing a Vanilla option. +1 on that, i hate the lg dialer and sms, they are so slow See above. :) I would love the option for te overglow and reboot if possible... ;-) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260858 Noted! screen on- off-animation would be also cool Yep, simple addition in theory! Guessing we'll still need to flash a different kernel to underclock to save battery on a night? oh actually, gtalk with video working properly would be great too. Well, it depends if the Froyo kernel source runs OK with GB (it's very similar). Working Gtalk would be a big bonus. I would like to be able to backup my settings to google :), and it would be great to be able to connect to invisible wireless networks (FR19 gives me some problems there..) and to be able to have a more advanced/better quality camera and to have the ability to use the videocard to the fullest :D. Guest goatee Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 No problem :). No, I don't have any issues, though wi-fi sometimes seems to turn itself off, but I'm using the aggressive profile - I'm not fussed about it syncing too frequently when the screen is off, but I do want data on as soon as I unlock my screen. Goatee, sorry for off topic :do u have u problems using ur data connection? everytime i use juice defender, my data connection seems to be very slow or hindered! which profile do u use? @paul cant wait to test ur new release
Guest Nic0co Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Working Gtalk would be a big bonus. http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/28932-gtalk-video-chat-on-lg-optimus-2x-cyanogenmod-71/ didn't work actualy with the leaked ROM (v20i?) :( sad :( -- Think you LG release on OTA the MoDaCo ROM as a LG Official ROM? ;) Edited September 27, 2011 by Nic0co

It was in four files and I got the idea it was from a V21 canada build (though it seems to work great on Vodafone UK too!) I posted it on our italian forum last week. Now it's everywhere :) We like it, it works well such as 725 and better then this one... As signal quality, signal power and battery drain... Good BB ! :D
Guest AngelOfMors Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Complaints about the GPS from XDA (GPS fix based on Topogogi & trapacska services.jar fix) and also Camera mod apk AndiCP from XDA ... percentage battery ... lates flash and google aps ... and more you patches
Guest Diskbox Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Damn! I'm using Topogigi's right now and the video part works ok but there's no sound. Was really hoping for both ;) http://forum.cyanoge...cyanogenmod-71/ didn't work actualy with the leaked ROM (v20i?) :( sad :( -- Think you LG release on OTA the MoDaCo ROM as a LG Official ROM? ;)
