Regular readers will know I like to give people 'something to play with for the weekend' and Gr1 prebake WILL be up by the weekend. I've spent a lot of hours on this already but there's more to do.

Currently running the build through the MoDaCo optimisation scripts.

I'll get a dev kitchen up as soon as possible and develop that into a full release with prebakes (replacing the current Fr and Gr releases) as quick as I can, taking requests for features as we go. :D

Can you release a basic version of gr3 till we wait to a complete one? can't wait to see the improvements from v20e smile.gif, have you got 20i radio too?

1 feature we all need... that a ginger version based rom can be stable, fast and believable like now cyano roms, arrived @ 154° version... :P

As asked before- have you got new baseband and ril with it?

No new baseband (should be used with previous GB baseband i'm told), RIL is obviously in the ROM.

Kernel is, and will remain for the actual LG release, 2.6.32.9.

Vanilla Gingerbread version would be cool too!

+1 on that, i hate the lg dialer and sms, they are so slow

I would like to be able to backup my settings to google :), and it would be great to be able to connect to invisible wireless networks (FR19 gives me some problems there..) and to be able to have a more advanced/better quality camera and to have the ability to use the videocard to the fullest :D.

If you can push Native GB VoIP client that would be cool, all HTC and SAMSUNG have it, hope we can get it too.

And did you see the KDZ file of SU660 v20f release? Maybe you get latest baseband from there, as that BB is one month newer than our 725 GB one.

There is a 0823 baseband out there somewhere that even reports as 0823. I flashed it but NO idea where I found it! It was in four files and I got the idea it was from a V21 canada build (though it seems to work great on Vodafone UK too!)

v21 from p990H canada is not a GB, its a Froyo release with froyo BB.

Well, it depends if the Froyo kernel source runs OK with GB (it's very similar).

Working Gtalk would be a big bonus.

No problem :). No, I don't have any issues, though wi-fi sometimes seems to turn itself off, but I'm using the aggressive profile - I'm not fussed about it syncing too frequently when the screen is off, but I do want data on as soon as I unlock my screen.

Goatee, sorry for off topic :do u have u problems using ur data connection? everytime i use juice defender, my data connection seems to be very slow or hindered! which profile do u use?

I posted it on our italian forum last week. Now it's everywhere :)

We like it, it works well such as 725 and better then this one...

As signal quality, signal power and battery drain... Good BB ! :D
