20 Jan Gr6 (V20o): MoDaCo Custom ROM for the LG Optimus 2X with Online Kitchen (stock+vanilla)

V20E Topogigi is a wonerful ROM except for the battery drain. Because of that I have to stay on stock V10E, which is worse in almost all the aspects but works about twice as long as V20E.

Looking forward to the new V20i based ROM from Paul.

No drain here at all.

Use v1.7 with new Neoblaze from today.

This is EXT 3 i presume? (so if coming from topogigi's EXT4 Rom I should use back to EXT3 first)

thanks for the reply, and many thanks for the new rom!

I have a few requests for this if possible Paul, I totally missed the other thread before you closed it! :)

If you could add the following I'll be very happy:

Backlight alert notification

Power off menu with reboot, reboot to recovery and power off options

When switched off, have the option to switch back on immediately without entering pin (like cm7)

Paul - would you ever consider making a theme with where the status bar has LG's background, but also has gingerbread stock icons? The gingerbread background makes the backlight bleeding really obvious and quite distracting, while LG's icons are less than ideal.

I was about to thank you Paul for bringing this to the masses, but... hey it is only for paying members... hmmm, I respect your time and effort, still smth's bothering me with this... I would pay the fee (not the point here) but I hate enrolling and being forced to pay for optional things...

Again, respect all your work and you need support to pay for the infrastructure, as for me, I will stick with the Topogigi ROM for the time being. All the best!

Yes, EXT3 for now, EXT4 will follow though assuming no kernel issues!

Very excellent Paul, Thanks! Downloading.

Something I've grown used to on CM7, and would like on GR3 is the option to use the external SD as the main SD-card.

I explained why in the first post. I also added...

  • A prebake will follow ASAP!

BBA will be coming, as will the power off menu. re: PIN, not sure about that one.

Shouldn't be too hard...?
