Guest vestelar Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 More info: Gallery, Music and camera won't start, all report "Media Scanner is Running" Yes, all the apps that needs to access to SD or crash or get "Media Scanner is Running" but it's normal if card doesn't work I guess
Guest smoki3 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 i can't select any kernel. Its automaticly installs r23 kernel
Guest Kostja_V Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Paul, how about adding ability to disable "USB Debugging Notification" with it's annoing sound? (persist.adb.notify=0 in build.prop) And few words about "Nexus S Masquerade", may be it is better to use original Optimus 2X fingerprint from earlier releases? Changing ro.product.device=p990_EUR-xx ro.product.manufacturer=LGE ro.build.product=p990_EUR-xx to the original values: ro.product.device=p990 ro.product.manufacturer=lge ro.build.product=p990 will return all dissapeared apps and games back to the market, plus it will make Voodoo Control Plus working with the stock kernel, and will fix activation issue in Navitel Navigator.
Guest Jay_Snake Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Hi, I would like to know if is possible to include this: http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=739530 It is an auto toggle of 2G/3G when the screen goes off. And can be controled with tasker. Thanks +1, that would be a great feature.
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 OK, i'm testing now and it seems the stock kernel (i.e. selecting NO options) should work OK. I've taken the kernel options completely out of the kitchen while I investigate. P

Good call, i'll change that once i've fixed the SD issue. I'll also look at the best way to include the line for the build.prop. P
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 It looks the SD issue is an issue with my custom kernels, as i'm building 'best guess' since the GingerBread kernel source isn't out yet. Hmmm... P
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Can anyone confirm whether SDcard access is OK on Neoblaze? P

Hmmm... P I don't know if it will help you, but using V20E firmware modified vold.fstab was needed to make SD cards working with NeoBlaze kernel. With stock kernel no actions were needed. Lines from original one: dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.3/mmc_host/mmc0 dev_mount extsdcard /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD auto /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc1 Lines from the modified one: dev_mount extsdcard /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD auto /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc1 /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc0 dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.3/mmc_host/mmc2 Edited September 29, 2011 by Kostja_V
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Yeah, i've just discovered that - it seems to be the same on this ROM. Still, easy fix. ;) P
Guest kickasskev Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Is there an option on the Kitchen to save your preferences??? there use to be on other kitchens but I cant seem to find it on this one? Also don't know if anyone else has this problem but when the phone connects to different ANTENNAS/MASTS, I need to restart the phone for it to be able to send and recieve texts, for example Im at home and its working, then I drive down the road 10 miles and I cant send recieve or make calls and texts until I restart the phone, but it still shows I have a signal, its like the lights are on but no one is home. BaseBand 7xx Gonna download another kitchen now see if its fixed :)

Guest Ferrum Master Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Paul, Could you post the changelog and modifications for your custom kernel i.e. what kind of tweaks and mods it has?
Guest kruppin Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Paul, Could you post the changelog and modifications for your custom kernel i.e. what kind of tweaks and mods it has? Would also like to know this. And if your goning to add OC/UV later on? :) P.S You're the best Paul!
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Paul, Could you post the changelog and modifications for your custom kernel i.e. what kind of tweaks and mods it has? Yep, i'll be putting the source in my GitHub shortly. It's only very minor changes, if you want OC/UV etc., go with someone else's kernel. :) P
Guest Paul Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Would also like to know this. And if your goning to add OC/UV later on? :) P.S You're the best Paul! See above. :) P
Guest jambezuk Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 It sounded like you'd fixed the kernels but as far as I can tell they are still greyed out!
Guest YourMother1972 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 checkbox is not available indeed, so i guess we have to wait a bit longer.
Guest kruppin Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 See above. :) P Okay, thank! Too bad you won't add OC/UV, because I really want to use your kernel so I can be sure there's no problems. ;) But if the battery lasts longer then before, maybe I won't need it. Again, thanks for your hard work. Now - Pizzatime! :)
Guest eagle1977 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 UOT Kitchen works also with stock kernel
