I use GPS Assisted toolbox for these things :) (GPS problems).

I have used FR22+Ext4, did a good recharge, used it less intensive and got about 14 hours of usage :D! Free mem varies: after taskkil can be up to 215 (nice job Paul! It took a while : a few reboots and intensive use to get this memory footprint, do you know why?) and it seems to work pretty nice!

Great job!

Thanks for your help but still the same problem...

gps starts to get a fix than it turns off and nothing happens.

You can try patched services.jar for V20I. It helped me with all GPS problems.

At first I want to give thanks to Paul. Than I want to ask something.

I baked ROM in the kitchen, but I am still not sure if I will use it. As I can see there are many problems now, and I am not sure if it is good idea to switch from FR19 which is rock stable. Thats the reason why I didnt try CM7.

Anyone could tell us his experiences with it? Is there A2DP BT working? And what about FM radio? Is it better in performance/battery consumption? I know this is lame newb question, but what advantages will GR brings to us?

Thank U very much if there is someone who can help me to make decision :)

@tombik

gr3 is very stable for me.I do not have a Bluetooth headset and cannot comment in that.fm radio works fine and battery is good.it is my daily use ROM. Take a nandroid backup of your current ROM and go for it

Another weird thing. It seems like phone goes into deep sleep, and disconnecting from mobile inet, because gtalk and other jabber clients goes offline after some time of inactivity, and goes online only when phone is unlocked. Its related to all gingerbread leaks.

same for me. only receive email when phone unlocked.

I had earlier posted problems in selecting any option in camera using MCR23 exp Kernel. I installed once again over mcr22 based installation and do not see any problems.

Hope Paul gives us a changelog between the Kernel versions provided in the kitchen.

@Paul

Download the services.jar here (please rename before pushing)

I'm going to be releasing a new version of BBA later today which fixes the detection of new MoDaCo ROMs

For BBA ;)

Anyone else got app-installing problems? I can only install a few (sometimes only one) before I get stuck at the loading screen for a specific app in the market (for example, I've up to now been unable to install Opera Mobile). Tried masquerading as Nexus S, but this makes no difference.

Then a feature request from me: I'd like to see a Gingerbread theme with toggle buttons (like CM7..) :). I absolutely hate LG's Froyo theme, but I also hate having a widget on my homescreen to toggle stuff all the time.

Apart from that; great ROM so far! Using it as my regular now.

+1 on this. I like the GB theme, but the toggle buttons are a must for me. Does anyone know if UOT kitchen will work with toggle buttons ie. will the buttons remain after I theme the framework-res.apk with UOT?

Gr3 bug:

WIFI turns off about 5mins after putting device to sleep. "WIFI sleep policy" in wifi advanced settings is set to "Never". WIFI will auto connect back when I turn device on again (and all email and whatsapp messages start coming in then).

This bug is also present in v20e leaked. Using the 725 gingerbread baseband from first post.

Yow Paul,

after using the R22 for the whole weekend I had 2 freezes: one during youtube and 1 while i was just using the device. Any thoughts on it?

Other than that: I love your work! And look forward to the moment were we have the LG O2X market access again (A).

Grz,

JJ
