Topics for Huawei C8600 Device

I'm new to this forum but not to my phone.

I open this topics for discussion on C8600 hacking.

I posted the first topics is kernel 2.6.29 + synaptics rmi sceen for multi-touch.

I got some problems on debug the multi-touch for it.

1) I heard 2.6.29 doesn't support multi-touch, is it true and how to patch it?

2) I used M860 kernel source from huaweidevice to compile, especially modify drivers/input/touchscreen/synaptics_i2c_rmi_tm1319.c

-> I tried to add two fingers code, one finger works well but two fingers only can zoon in desktop.

The reason is x2, y2 is fixed to some fixed value. That means the buf i read is not correct.

-> So what's the correct buf length and start_reg address? Any one has any idea.

3) tm1319 is also used on some other huawei phones, any news on multitouch on these phone?

Attached the modified driver to support at least zoom on desktop.
