hmm i had no probs with this on tigtex v113 mooncake but i had similar prob with 1 of the B0 something cant remember which as theres that many now lol (choice is a good thing) , it does`nt happen all the time as i`ve found out just occasionally, no big deal really it is a very nice ROM.....

This is excellent DJ Fluminee. I will download these ROMs later and give them a go.

I have some space on my server so would there be interest in having these ROMs (and any others) hosted away from malshenzu? Could make things easier with the language barrier and registration problems etc.

Can any body edit this room to english or portuguese? I would like to test it and I don't know how to do it.

if you have freshly flashed the rom and you have the first screen (setup screen) you can press the right hand button option in chinese and this will give you the option to change the language.

OR

you can edit the "build.prop" file with notepad on your comp, once you can see the "build.prop" file in text format (which is located in the SYSTEM folder of the ROM) you can change these values: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF THE ROM FIRST

example :

ro.product.locale.language=zh

ro.product.locale.region=CN

persist.sys.language=zh

persist.sys.country=CN

to :

ro.product.locale.language=en

ro.product.locale.region=GB

persist.sys.language=en

persist.sys.country=GB

then save the file and copy the rom with modified build.prop file on to your SD card and flash it (i use winrar to view roms on windows, easy to extract and add modified files), now you`ll have default english

other languages are available but you have to explore the rom to see....default directory system/tts/lang_pico

hope it helps.........

First i modified build.prop to english, but then in the android defs I've changed it to portuguese, there are all languages in the room.

Bugs: The hard buttons (make/end call) don't work

Some aplications that work in the stock room and tigtex room don't work properly (like Ndrive an Copilot)

edited, can't install gapps, it says : signature verifications failed

have you installed the latest version of clockwook recovery mooncake(boot recovery, not the app), if you have latest version already maybe 2.2 version of rom is not capatible with that version of gapps......

there is FM in the ROMS

All of the B01 to B09 2.3.4 roms have FM app in them but may drain your battery quicker but you can easily remove if you want to....

I've tried almost room in this topic and the conclusions are:

- Some of them have some aplications issues ( the aplication won't install or after install you can not run it because it closes)

- Battery high drain is in almost rooms (probably because of fm radio).

- All 2.3 room have the mms issue, if the data conection is disabled (for those who like me have 2 apn's) you can not send mms.

The good news is that all rooms I tested have support for all languages.

Tested rooms: 2.3.4zteX850、6月16~1_signed; 2.3.5 ZTE-U X850 MND-B01-嫣然: new-rom-07-28; x8502.2_release1.4_by_shuaidi (this one was the worst I've tried - no google apps, even market and I could not install it, allways force close)

markets app, have you tried extracting the "vending.apk" file from the gapps update that i linked you and installing it seperately through file manager on phone, mms i dont know how to fix, and fm radio app in most of the B0 ROMS are battery drainers although i found the 2.3.5 B01 very good with fm radio app installed.......i would maybe recommend using tigtex v113 rom if you have`nt already as that has market included, i dont know if mms works though........

the new market is out..it's pretty cool and works on most of cyanogen mod builds.

tigtex v113 as the same mms issue, I think that is a bug of all caynogen 2.3 based rooms, I'm with tigtex room now, I don't really need mms but it's a bug and I can send it when connected to a wirelless network because the data connection over 3G even when connected the wifi is preferential and in this cases the mms apn works good.

Hi,

Tried all the roms including the latest 2.3.5.... but all those have screen callibration problem....

So ultimately the best rom is B02.... If anyone can make the battery fix for this that would be of great help....

If battery issue is solved..... This is one of the best rom....
