How many time phone has to restart, I think I got bootloop

everything works fine for me, the only thing it did was

reinstall SE stock 2.1

then rooted install xrecovery 0.3. then reboot

Once you have done all that

enters xrecovery install the room maid by trip

remove the battery wait 30 seconds to begin installing the kernel and the baseband THROUGH flashtools

reboot the phone and there you go the new android 2.3

everything works fine without FC

I got carried away and posted without testing the phone properly.

I will test all functions and post the result.

- GPS only lock using GPS + wireless network

- FC trying to set a ringtone for calls

You are using the wrong file that was uploaded even before this topic was created! Read the OP and you will find out :)

Okay, so I've used Sony Ericsson Update Service to revert back to 2.1, I've re-rooted and did everything fresh. Still I get bootloop after Flashing the ROM.

I log into recovery:

- Factory Reset(Full Wipe)

-Wipe Cache Partition

-Advanced Options

-Wipe Dalvik Cahce

-Wipe Battery Stats

-Install Custom Rom

After that I pull battery out, wait 45 seconds just to be sure

Then I use Flash Tool to Flash the Kernel that Trip posted.

After Flashing I pull out the USB cord, and press power button, then it goes into bootloop.

Should fix all FC and camera issues. Tester a couple of times and camera is working.

I've downloaded it the file, placed it in the Flash Tool Firmwares folder, it said Files are exactly the same. Ill do it one more time, it it doesn't work guess there is no GB update for me.

I usually just do this when I install all the ROMS, works every time, but is there anything else I need to do, do I have to go to partition settings and wipe something extra. Please write step by step full instructions.

OK not to confuse anyone but I was so anxious today I d/l 2.3 ftf before a root solution came out. Is there anyway to root the 2.3 update I have without going back to 2.1. 2.3 is working slow and I want to put 3.1075-TripRaver in. I know I should have waited but I was anxious to check it out.

Thats correct download the next version.. make sure you the zip with 01 in the end of the filename and flash that.

The only solution is to flash 2.1 again and install xrecovery 0.3 and follow the procedure for installing this rom.

I have updated my x10 to official gb2.3.3 via SEUS and you know it's not rooted so i can't install xRecovery.

I want a rooted GB.

what's the solution to this problem?
