Guest davidevinavil Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 About hi_voltage boot.. Yes is stock voltage ;)
Guest stonebear Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 (edited) About hi_voltage boot.. Yes is stock voltage ;) Cool. :) The battery thing I mentioned...maybe it will be ok after I wipe battery stats? I have been having weird battery readings before I installed your rom, I don't think it is your rom causing them. I think it just needs calibrating. . Edited October 27, 2011 by stonebear

Guest davidevinavil Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 I usually auto link apk, dalvik cache and lib. Also relink lib file at boot. This is the best you can get from link2sd to me..
Guest clacava Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Ok, many thanks Dave. i've already did.......
Guest spicysomtam Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 just like to say this is an excellent rom. compared to the stock acer rom i have 70mb free as aposed to 20mb free. This obviously helps in running apps.

I agree, I am very happy I installed this :) As I am a beginner, I am not using ext2 and link2sd yet, but I will have lots of space just using app2sd in the normal way.
Guest Bolpa Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Which new book? The phone Book, sorry :)
Guest stonebear Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) I wiped battery stats after charging to full with phone powered off and I still have some weird battery reading behaviour. When charging with phone powered on it will not fully charge, it reaches 98% and the LED keeps flashing but goes no further than that. I am sure the battery IS fully charged, it is at 4197mv which is as high as my battery every reaches but it will not reach 100%. I waited over 30 minutes but the battery stayed on 98% and the LED kept flashing. Then I stopped charging and the battery meter reports the battery draining faster than I would expect, it went down to 89% really quickly (with minimal use) but the battery is at 4048mv. Surely not a 9% drop. Edited October 28, 2011 by stonebear
Guest davidevinavil Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) 4.049 Volt looking at original acer_a4_vol_table.h correspond to 90 % with 300 mA drain, so value is right.. Issue is about not fully indicated charge but I'm testing new kernel... today I'll drain all battery and then full charge to see if it works well.. And it's not an issue that battery goes down quickly from 100 to about 90 because all android phone with 1% step has this feature.. Edited October 28, 2011 by davidevinavil
