Guest Lens_flare Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 reboot it :] it'll only seem that you have a bootloop.
Guest AcerFerrari Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Don't know, but just now after I flashed the .bin again and recovery again, it is ok and successfully turned on my phone just a question: Why there is still Chinese in Folder and Market?
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) because it's CHINESE rom :D I've just deodexed it and changed language to english in the build.prop. English pack isn't available over miuiandroid. Edited August 22, 2011 by Lens_flare
Guest JohnyR21 Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) WiFi not working on 1.18.19. Any idea Lens? This is the only MIUI rom that connects to my provider, so I really want to use this. EDIT: Fixed, just reflashed it again and it seems to be working fine. Awesome release man! Guest MCAlex Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Anyone with the latest STABLE (2.3.5a) here? How much free RAM have you got? I am interested in because ATM I am using 1.7.15 and I have about 60-70 MB of free RAM. I'd like to try a new game which I think it requests more free RAM, because I tried it with 80 MB free (reboot phone then killed all apps opened) and when I reached the intro it crashed. Thank you guys :)

But with these same apps with the ln 1.7.2 I have about 115 mb of free ram O.o Edited August 25, 2011 by elpincio

Guest elpincio Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thank you, I'll give a try to both :) Btw, any trouble with the MIUI? I mean bugs, FCs, anything? Sometimes miui doesn't boot at first time, and I need to remove battery to reboot..
Guest MCAlex Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Sometimes miui doesn't boot at first time, and I need to remove battery to reboot.. Ok, thank you so much! :)

Guest MCAlex Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Lens, you're great! :D Just installed the new MIUI (2.3.5a), it's AWESOME! :D Last night, I had the best gaming experience on my Liquid :) now I'll try another game (which request a lot of RAM), if it works you'll be my hero :D Eheh thank you man! ;)
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) Updated. Please test link to apps and updater feature. Updater is semi-official, so wipe required before flashing. And yes, updater is not in rom. Edited August 26, 2011 by Lens_flare
Guest f1rSt Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 hello,Lens! will you update liquid version of miui to latest .26 release?
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 [ru]Издеваешься да? :/[/ru] It's already .26, I just forgot to change a header :D
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 I know. Just remove vending.odex in system/app. Uploaded version without this "odex" as general rom link, see 1'st post.
Guest Maritz Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Hello, this will be the same for all MIUI ROMs and many other ROMs out there. You need to manually add your APN settings to get data. go to settings->system->mobile operators (or something like that)choose "APN list"hit the menu button, choose "Add"for name, put "fido"for server, put "internet.fido.ca"for username, put "fido"for password, put "fido"for server type, put "default"leave everything else as ishit the menu button, choose "save"you should now see the list of APNs which will have only one, the fido one you just createdselect the fido APN you createdwait about 5 seconds, you should have data. You will have to do this each time you install a MIUI rom. Annoying but takes 15 seconds. I recommend copy and pasting "fido" while doing it to save more time :) Good luck! Thanks You!. I did get everything working and love the ROM.
Guest vikings123 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I know. Just remove vending.odex in system/app. Uploaded version without this "odex" as general rom link, see 1'st post. I re-flashed the version from the first post and applied the English language package. Everything seems to be working OK now. WiFi is running OK. I will test BT and wireless AP later.
Guest dr3amz Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) can't get working, flashed base 4.002.14 then this MIUI release (.26) and constant bootloop of MIUI loading screen, been sat there about an hour doing it now... >.< (reflashed 2-3 times same thing) Edited August 28, 2011 by dr3amz
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) constant bootloop of MIUI loading screen Try to boot it without SDcard. Edited August 28, 2011 by Lens_flare
Guest dr3amz Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 i'll try that today, i ended up putting on 1.5 from the other thread, booted first time, so maybe this will install better over that also?
Guest Master_T Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 I know it's a bit early to ask this, but will the next version(s) be based once again on the LiquidNext kernel, since LN 1.8 is out? Phoenix kernel works perfectly, but it eats battery like CRAZY!! Anyway, thnx Lens for your hard work, keep it up!!
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 .26 Is based on LN kernel already.
