My Liquid is overheating

Hello,

A few days ago I started having problems with my liquid. During the day the lower back of the phone starts overheating and at the sametime the battery drains really quickly. the battery itself doesn't overheat. If I plug it into a USB port to charge it, it gets so hot that the charging stops. I tried charging it turned off with the same results.

I was running LiquidNext ROM 1.5.3, upgraded to 1.7 and downgraded to stock froyo (flashed .bin) with the same problem in all of them. The overheating seems to be less at night and early in the morning.

I also tried cleaning it with a blower, but could only do it from the outside. Don't have the right tools to disassemble it.

If anyone has had this problem or knows what the problem could be I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Did you overclock your liquid?

Or have you got a tool (for example a lowmemkiller) which drains battery?

Have you tried changing your ROM?

Bring an Ice-Piece with you! xD

I have not overclocked my liquid.

I don't have any apps like that.

Yes, I tried LiquidNext 1.5.3, 1.7 and stock froyo, all have the same problem.

Mh.. maybe it could be an Acer problem..

I mean, your Liquid could be damaged in the aeration (in its cooler sys)

I have determined that this overheating only happens when I have mobile data turned on. If I turn data off the phone behaves normally but the moment I turn it on, it starts to feel warm and the battery drains faster. Wi-fi works with no problems.

In the screenshot attached you can see that the battery drain is steeper when data is turned on.

Can anyone help me?
