10 Aug OUK_P743TV1.0.0B05: Stock ROM for the Orange Monte Carlo

I currently have GB_BP_P743V1.0.0B01 (stock - Brightpoint) installed.

I have ClockworkMod ("CWM") 4.0.1.4 installed.

I boot into CWM and when I try to install OUK_P743TV1.0.0B05, I get:

"Can't open OUK_P743TV1.0.0B05-skate-unsigned.zip (bad). Installation aborted."

Any ideas?

Can this rom be flashed onto a handset that still has the stock recovery?

I suppose it's not the "install" format of ROM, but "backup" format that was created using nandroid backup in CWM.

So that's why "install zip from sdcard" won't work. Try using Backup and Restore / Restore instead...

let me get this right before i do this :

you install it through clockwork like any other ROM

once you have installed it, it will overwrite clockwork

re-install clockwork

install any ROM i want afterwards?

i'm going back to stock so i can shoot a review video for my youtube channel

Yes flash with CWR like normal. The stock rom will be fine. Restart with the vol down and CWR will be there!

Verry nice work but question I have a medion 98910 (4310) and if have a canon printer MG5200 it work good whit my Canon apps i can scan and print whitout problem .

if update my medion 4310 with Zte skate 2.2 very nice work. but there is a problem for this aplication Canon Easy-PhotoPrint its not compatible and al the others print share well isn't free

what can I do that works whit this apps

hey all, is this rom the fullon out-of-the-box rom: with all of orange's crapp?

for some reason the phone speaker on my phone has started rattling and im sending it off for replacement but as to not arouse suspicion i want to revert to out of the box state (im currently on tillal's atomic). can i go through the normal clockworkmod way with this rom and get factory state?

also, i had a look on the thread with the differnt types of stock roms:

android.modaco.com/topic/348497-zte-skate-stock-roms/page__hl__omc+stock+rom

but i wasnt sure which one i had... is there anyway of telling?

any help appreciated :)

I too would appreciate a definate link to the latest full of orange bloatware stock rom which my phone came with on 2.3.5, firstly as i forgot to unlock before rooting and flashing a custom rom which it seems you have do first and secondly for warrenty purposes.

I was thinking of trying the update tool to get back to the orange stock version mine came with of 2.3.5 (plus any updates) as ZTE say " You can update the handset software version with following method: 1. 1-click update package (Customised by the operator)" Has anyone done this or would it best to flash the original rom back by clockwork?

i just tryed this as mine has to go back under warranty and the phone now wont boot, Its stuck on the green android logo and i cant access cwm.............just get the ftm screen
